優點： We departed on time, and boarding after we returned back to the airport the 2nd time was efficient.
缺點： The flight had to turn around halfway back - due to "mechanical issues". Arrived home 4 hours late. English language ability of the crew is appalling. They generally don't speak any other than what is in their crew manual...
缺點： When I spoke to the United person last week to confirm baggage and carry on requirements. He said I could take a carry on when I turned up to the gates I was charged another fee for my carry on bag. What is baffling is that when I arrived at Denver people were getting complementary check in baggage. I’m so dissatisfied with the booking and the amount it has now cost me ruining any savings I’d had for sanfrancisco
優點： As expected, the crews' service were good. Comfortable seats and nice meals.
缺點： On the way back to Singapore, there was no entertainment in each seat. Didn't expect this and never experience from my previous flight with Asiana. There was the main screen in the centre but I can't choose and the lights were on all the way when I tried to sleep. Disappointed that they didn't inform in advance. People expect Asiana as same as SQ which provides full of new equipment such as personal screen on each seat.
優點： For all the turbulence that we heard about, the flight was extremely smooth which I attribute to the pilot's skills
缺點： We kept on being told that there was going to be turbulence and that it would be too rocky to serve food/drinks - but there was limited turbulence and the flight was very smooth. There was also a delay in leaving as there was an extra bag in hold but they 'couldn't find it'.
優點： It was cheap but I would not do it again
缺點： I made friends with another passenger who when texting his number introduced himself as ‘XYZ, flight from hell’. That pretty much sums it up but here’s a laundry list of issues I faced on the trip 1. They landed us in a different airport in China and did not inform us on how to get to the other airport (PVG). After several failed attempts of catching a taxi that accepts Visa or US dollars, we finally got a bus that ferried us 2. They also did not automatically transfer the luggage, so I had to carry my two checked in bags to the other one and then stand in a 45 min queue to get them checked in again 3. Unhelpful ground staff 4. Delayed second flight. After a shitty eight hour long layover, we got another 2 5. Horrible food 6. No ear plugs are available in the plane 7. Not a single apology from the crew about the delay Also, anyone who doesn’t speak mandarin needs to understand that the crew in China is not well equipped to understand and help you, so be prepared to have the translation struggle
