Upon returning to the airport I asked a cathay staff regarding provisions for lunch but I was told there’s none.Overall our trip both to and from LAX were very uncomfortable and inconvenient. I hope Cathay will do something better in situations like we encountered. As of this writing I and my husband are still at HK airport waiting for our flight to LAX."

My outbound flight LAX-HKG, the dinner salad included shrimp. I explained i could not eat the shrimp. The attendant was kind enough to swap it with a leftover vegetarian salad."

But by arrival time, I was starting to get hungry again. Thank God, I had enough of a layover, even with CBP processing, to grab a quick bite before continuing an additional 6-hours to home with no time to eat."

Most horrible flying experience I've ever had in my entire life and I've been flying internationally for almost 20 years. Their customer service is terrible, not transparent and not helpful. They took longer than necessary to rebook people to other flights. Completely horrible. I have another flight booked with PAL that I can no longer cancel, but after that one, never flying them again!"

Also on one of the connecting flights (could have been same as above), the flight departed late because they allowed another passenger through that wasn't suppose to be on that flight on to the plane. They need to have better boarding pass scanners and /or the employees should pay better attention to that main detail. Air was really dry in the cabin, suggestion is to add some kind of humidifier in the plane to decrease dryness to the nose."

I guess the padding gets worn down from all the passenger travel an that's understandable but for passengers with 13-15 hr trips, sleeping isn't an option really and the seats are just not soft enough. Perhaps a nominal $100 upgrade fee when seats are empty in business class? I'm assuming the reason business was empty is it's just too expensive? Maybe a price adjustment is in order rather than letting those seats sit empty? Overall, the flight was a pleasant experience. The seat situation was just a blemish on the trip. I will continue to use Philippine Airlines though probably in the future. Thank you."

缺點： "They were 4hrs late and I missed my connecting flight. Ground staff said don't worry someone will assist you and provide a free flight. After arriving in Manila, they ground staff said sorry nothing we can do, it's impossible. I was stranded thanks to PhilAir delays and they refused to help me. I was on time to the airport, they were delayed big time and wouldn't help when they have the ability to help."
優點： "The aircraft was new and clean. This is the only direct flight to Manila. The seats have very good leg room and good recline angle."

Checked-in online to speed things up, but the ladies at the "Online check-in counter" was not there, and when they turned up, there were in training. Then the boarding gates/lounge. None of the restaurants accepted credit or debit cards (?). It's an international airport!?! Unbelievable. Once boarded, realised none of the seats had screens or any onboard entertainment unless you had downloaded the myPal app. It would have been handy if the check-in staff informed us of this. Then there were flight delays, with no explanation. No screens with any live updates. Nothing. Worst terminal on planet earth! Now the plane. It must be a plane bought from another airline who completed their 30 year lease of the aircraft, because it looked like from the 1980's or older. Falling apart, uncomfortable, toilets not working, dirty, run down. The air-crew were lazy and rude and were inconsistent. One would say they ran out of something, then the person next to me would ask another crew, and received what they requested (food, assistance, pens, etc). Horrible. The pilots rarely informed us of the flight updates. Just utterly horrible! I cannot believe I have to fly with them on my return leg back home :("

No compensation whatsoever for their incompetence in arranging my luggage to fly along with me. They should refund 25% of the flight since they only delivered me, and not my luggage."

The expectation is that we're to use our own individual mobile devices and yet no one informs passengers ahead of time that this particular airplane has no monitors so you should download the app. Then if we did manage to have the app, there are no USB or plugs to allow passengers to charge their devices in order to use the app?! Makes no sense. This flight (PR 102 MNL-LAX) was also terrible due to the fact that it was delayed more than 1hr 45 mins. I know several passengers that missed connecting flights upon arrival to LAX. When we finally landed at 8:51 pm (orig 7 pm), we were held on the plane and finally able to deplane at 9:30 PM. During the time waiting, the power (air, lights, etc) were turned off so we were essentially sitting/standing in darkness for approximately 30 mins. Then baggage wasn't unloaded until almost 10:45 pm. All the passengers were standing around waiting for their luggage for an extremely long time."

缺點： "Worn out seats, dated aircraft, our 12hr return flight had no in-seat entertainment, they are playing an obnoxious theme song on an infinite loop during boarding and exiting. Unless you need to fly directly to the Philippines, I would avoid this airline for connections to other points in Asia. There are just way better airlines that will get you to Asian cities for a little more money. Pay the extra, as it will be worth it for that long of a flight."

優點： "Staff was very attentive, tried to make everyone as comfortable as you can possibly be in a 15 hour flight. Wouldn't hesitate to fly with this airline again."

Due to an issue with a bag on board without the associated passenger we had to taxi back to the stand for it to be removed before we could take off. This cost us an hours delay. There was limited apologies for this, no refreshments provided during the wait and poor communication of this. During the flight the staff were inattentive and sparing with refreshments. Service generally did not live up to expected level associated with an inter-continents flight. The flight was turbulent but crew and captain seemed over cautious with it and crew had to remain seated unnecessarily at times and at the detriment of passenger service. One stewardess wouldn’t even let me finish a drink before removing it from my hand claiming we were about to land and she had to sit down because of turbulence. We were still 40 mins from landing at this point! All in all a pretty bad flight, and it’s safe to say I won’t be flying American Airlines again."

The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."
