缺點: "Time to renew the aircraft 777-300"

優點: "The whole Business experience on SQ"
缺點: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

缺點: "We stopped in Korea for two hours, that was not listed on my original itinerary. Then we were late to get to Singapore. My seat was very very small and I was seated next to two very large ppl."

優點: "In general it was all very good - I flew Premium Economy but I didn’t see much difference at all between that and Economy. There was a bit more leg room but that was about it, Having said that Singapore Airlines overall is pretty good - toilets kept nice and clean and everyone well taken care of."

缺點: "The business class seats were smaller than I thought and not so comfortable as the 777. The seats are hard and ungiving and when you sleep on them you really feel it. Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

Given we could not even take water brought in the airport into the plane there needed to be regular distributions of fluids on the flight as there was on the flight from London toy Singapore. It is a long flight and being dehydrated on a plane is not a good thing."

缺點: "Food was bland and breakfast availability was a joke. On any flight, passengers do not want spicy or evening meals, and having a limited amount number of breakfasts available was not amusing. The crew had done 5 rows and we were 6 row from kitchen and they had run out ."

優點: "I liked the space I had to stretch out, 3 seats to myself in economy enabled me to get some solid sleep between meals. The crew werebalways very polite and friendly."

缺點: "My flight was delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight in Singapore. There was a huge queue of people who missed their connecting flight cos of an accident in the runway. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

缺點: "Our flight to Bali was cancelled due to the volcano eruption. We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

優點: "The airplane seats in economy were comfortable for the very long flights I took with Qatar Airlines. The seats had enough room between the back of the other seat. The seat reclined to a comfortable position. The seat back provided a built in head rest. The TV's in the seats were the largest I have ever seen on a flight in economy. The staff were helpful and great. The food and drinks provided were decent!"

缺點: "Even after online checkin. Just to drop the bags it took 1 hr. The thin old black lady at the baggage drop off counter was very partial in treating people. She allowed a black male take 27.8 kgs but asked us to adjust our bags when we had 23 kgs. Also if the passenger is allowed to carry a laptop bag, according to her training and theory she only knows 1 shape and does not recognize a back pack which has only the laptop. I travelled several times in Qatar, but never had this kind of experience."

So we ended up going back next day with the supervisor's incredible allowance, offer. I got very emotional when she told us our option. Thank you. Unfortunatley I didn't get her name, due to our shock))"

優點: "Qatar is quite possibly the best airline in the world, especially on its long haul flights. It is heads above the other two major Persian Gulf airlines. All the employees with whom I dealt were excellent and customer-oriented. The planes between Doha and London were new, had more space than older planes and had an excellent selection of movies and TV shows. I ordered special meals on all the flights, and I was very satisfied. I have been a fan of Qatar Airways since I flew it to Australia in 2011. It continues to do a superb job, even in Economy."

缺點: "Check in crew in Lahore ganged up against me and wanted to extort £200 for taking me laptop on board along with my hand carry. No where in the world has an airline ever asked me for this, and I fly a fair bit. Since I didn't allow them to extort me, they forced me to throw away my brand new Delsey hand carry at the airport. I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."

The flight crew did not offer any kind of apology or explanation for the delay. Food and beverage service was delayed and the staff was forgetful of guests' requests. Upon our arrival in Doha, checked bags did not arrive until 2 hours after we landed! How does an airport receive a 5-star rating, but takes 2 hours to return baggage to its guests? Overall, a poor experience from Qatar Airways."

Flight was delayed 25 minutes (advised by kayak not Emirates); no acknowledgement of it - departure boards never reflected it, no announcement."

優點: "Wasn't full so there was space to street a bit. Stewardesses were polite and attentive - checking throughout whether drinks were required (on other flights they've disappeared between food services). Good selection of films."

優點: "Not much. The crew were bright and breezy. Ish."
缺點: "Emirates has applied EasyJet seat ramming techniques to its A380 business Class product. As a result even the spacious upper deck of an A380 feels cramped. The seat width in business Class is the same as economy so lying on your side to sleep is an impossibility for all but the diminutive or children. It’s hard to justify 4-5 times the economy fare to sit in such cramped ‘pile em high, sell em cheap’ seats. Breakfast served just before landing at LGW was honestly the most revolting meal I’ve ever been served onboard an aircraft, and I’ve flown Monarch. Less scrambled egg than puréed egg slops with gristly undercooked chicken sausages. Ryanair would blush at serving up such lousy fare. Emirates are paring back the ‘overheads’ in business Class and its starting to show. Cheapening the product (in every sense) might work for some but if I’m going to stump up thousands I think I’ll choose an airline that treats me less like self loading cargo in future."

缺點: "I missed my connecting flight in Turkey as flight was delayed. It was my worst flight experience because nobody wanted to help me. It took an hour of being ignored by various TA staff to eventually get my boarding pass to the next available flight to London. I nearly missed that one as well because of it. The staff in Turkey was rude and unhelpful and most didn’t understand English properly. There were a number of others having the same issues, it was an awful experience."

The excursion departs at 12p.m. This flights arrives at 11.25 a.m., but the lines in immigration are stupidly long. We arrived at the counter at 12.15. In a very unfriendly way, they explained the excursion had left, and no possibilities for joining it in Town. So, we were stuck at the airport for several hours. How stupid is to offer an excursion to passengers in layover, but program a flight with 300 passengers to arrive just in time to miss the excursion? Somebody has to think this over. This excursion should leave at 12.30, and it would avoid dozens of passengers stuck and unhappy."

缺點: "the first flight (from Dhaka to Istanbul) was long, but great. full entertainment. the second flight from Istanbul to London had zero entertainment (the flight is obviously international and 4-5 hours long). there should be an easier way to request a vegetarian meal when i buy my ticket through your website. I shouldn't have to go through some convoluted way of contacting the airline to find if there is a veg option."

優點: "No personal entertainment screen. No USB jack. These alone are unacceptable esp for an international flight. Food was terrible - vegetarian option was plain pasta!. Seats cramped and too close together. Crew didn't manage passengers putting luggage away so passengers did it very badly taking up overhead room with jackets and small bags. Gate was overcrowded and hot without enough seats. Staff was pleasant though and friendly and courteous and efficient."

缺點: "This flight was pure misery. In the Istanbul airport flight gates are not announced until an hour before your fight. This would be fine if Turkish Airlines would also allow us access to our flight at that time. The gate had been announced and we had to wait for them to set up a security checkpoint before we could even sit at our gate. This security checkpoint was set up at a point where nearly everyone on the flight was waiting. This caused it to be a huge delay of people concerned about missing their flight. Little did they know that they had nothing to be concerned about because our flight would eventually be delayed two hours. We were eventually loaded onto our plane which apparently was having some technical issues despite just landing in Istanbul. There were people who had rode in on the plane that was eventually deemed unsafe to fly because of an error with the steering mechanism (which we were not even told what was going on until we boarded a second plane). While they determined this we sat on a hot, non air-conditioned plane full of screaming children. I understand why they were screaming and wanted to join in. We eventually had to deboard the plane and wait for them to secure us an alternate plane. They attempted to deliver the plane to the gate, but were unable to steer the first plane away from it, so we had to be transported by bus to the open tarmac. There was no order or organization as to how people were loaded on to either the bus or plane and it was pure and utter choas that delayed our flight even further. The plane we boarded did not have inflight entertainment so we sat on our four hour flight to London left to our own devices. When we arrived in London it was pat the point of public transportation trains running and I had to reroute to a bus. By the time I arrived at my flat it was 4 in the morning. Turkish Airlines has been the most chaotic, unprofessional, disorganized, and inefficient airline I have ever traveled on. My tale will continue with my return flights and how they lost my luggage and it hung out in Istanbul for a few days before being returned to me. I can not stress enough to others to never travel with this airline. The cheaper price is not worth it."

缺點: "Cabin staff were blatantly prejudice, would not assist anyone who wasn't Turkish or of their color. I had an injury and surgery to my right foot, and as a result was using a walking can for m9bility. One my return flight to UK one cabin crew member decided in their wisdom to place said cane in the overhead bin. I advised her, I didn't like nor think this to be a good idea. Things move when taking off and my fair was if one wasn't aware the cane was there it may fall and injure someone. She insisted, and put the can into the overhead bin, and surprise, one of her fellow cabin members opened this b8n, and down came the cane on a passenger's head. For her injury, they offered her water and proceeded to hand the cane back to me. On flight TK 603 or TK 1983 we were assigned seats in economy row 20 A and b, well my son was seated in 20B, almost sliced his palm on the armrest, because the cover that should have been there wasn't, thus exposing jagged metal. I had to insist that we be moved and they should NEVER allow the cabin be loaded with such dangers visibly exposed. They didn't seem to show much concern, since the flight was full of "blacks"...! On our maiden flight on this airline, we had a 15+ hour layover. Couldn't get assistance from airport staff on simple questions such as where could one rest for the 15 hours, airport staff are busy riding around on automated wheel chairs, and when we asked them to assist an elderly lady who obviously could not walk the distance to her boarding gate in Istanbul, we were met with glares, or look of "they don't know English" or simply being miss directed, whilst my son carried this ladies heavy bag, including his own, and I on my walking stick, until we located the infraction desk, where a true gentleman, by the name of Mahmet came to our rescue, or more importantly took over the matter and assisted this lovely lady who was heading back to new york, to get her water for her medication, a chair to sit on until a wheelchair was brought to her. Honestly, in the many years that I've traveled, I've never seen or encountered a group of unprofessional, disrespectful and just downright prejudiced to visitors to their country! You couldn't pay me enough to visit Turkey or ever fly Turkish Airlines again in my life. So, so disappointed and disgusted by the whole experience it begs the question, how was this airline voted the 2nd best airline in Europe? You must have a very low ranking requirement, or my expectations are just too high for this airline, airport and the people I encountered."

缺點: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

缺點: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."
