Upstair in the same area with the pricey and exclusive lounges for elite travelers, there was a "Nap Space" or "Nap Place: a large suite of rooms with maybe sixty comfortable couches to catch up on missing sleep... with no sign-up required and no supervisory staff. And totally free of charge! Every airport should consider having such a welcomed service. Also at INC, bona-fide transit passengers with a outbound boarding pass can take a free shower (soap and towels provided as well?). Wow. These amenities surely make INC one of the least loathsome airports in Asia at which a day-long layover may be spent."

She offered no tips, next steps, empathy, or direction and did not even say, "I don't know". With her tone of voice, she basically said, "It's not my problem and I do not care - go away." My fiance and I canceled our flight and flew with Korean Air."

When I asked "Why", I was told it was for Star Alliance Gold Club members, not Asiana Gold Club members. There was no indication on the sign there was a difference. Don't get me wrong, I'm not so disturbed about standing in the long line. I was upset because of the implied difference in the Star Alliance Gold Club benefits vs. Asiana Gold Club benefits and, as far as I am aware, the unpublished differences so when we as customers are at the airport trying to operate within the system, we know what to do. I was at the front of Economy class when a female Asian passenger walked up in the Business class ilne. He naturally tendered to her first and let her and directing her to a lower security ranking staff t the other side of area. All fine and dandy. But seconds later, a Caucasian male walked u,p indicating that he was with that female Asian, the security guard got real mad, shouted at the Asian woman who by then was some 20 feet away that next time she needed to tell him he was with someone. When it was my turn to go into the secured area, there were to guards available standing side by side, a male and a female. He let me and pointed toward the two guards. I asked him which one, he didn't answer. I asked a second time, "Male or female", he still didn't answer, just pointed his finger toward the two guards. His attitude was totally unacceptable."

缺點： "Four travelers were seated in 4 different areas on flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco flight. Three of us of us were senior citizens. Two had disabilities and were.not accommodated in any way by Cathay Pacific (CP) while loading in the four areas of the plane. Those of us that we're physically able could not help those with mobility issues because of the proximity of the seating, I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well. I traveled internationally to Asia three times now on CP and the first two were excellent. In the past had had flown other carriers on out trips to asia. This experience on this flight was beyond bad. I had plan on several more trips to Asia the next three years, and I will say that at this point, I will not fly CP again. Something needs to change. A call to me is in order. I witnessed several gaps in CP systems and other issues with training the staff. Your survey did not specify the flight crew. Except for the loading issues and the lack of information about Customs being.closed at SF, the service was world class...what I had come to expect from CP"

It took a login to the Cathay Pacific web site to figure out that with the rescheduled time, I would miss my connecting flight from HongKong to Boston if I didn't change anything. I managed to sort it out, though it took using my cell phone to place an international call to the HongKong Cathay Pacific office to get me on an earlier flight. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service -- had I not had WiFi access or an international capable cell phone, I would have been stranded in Taipei or HongKong an extra day. I think CP could have done more to notify and help remediate the situation knowing the implication of the rescheduled flight. Food also remains mediocre, though slightly better."

I asked flight attendant if they could check the air flow, and her answer was that the temperature was 23C and everyone one else had blankets. My concern was not with temperature but FLOW. SO I went to back cabin (6 rows back) and the airflow was much much better and I could actually sleep. So bottom line there is an airflow issue mid economy cabin on the central AC jets. They should address this by putting back in air nozzles or checking actual airflow on these jets. This is very uncomfortable on long flights. Not sure I would fly this jet again for this reason."

Inflight service was good but there was an unwritten Cathay Pacific rule that I was not aware of.........each passenger is restricted to two alcohol beverage drinks in any one hour period."

Same goes for the spinach pastry in the same tray. On the flights to Cairo, there was not enough drinks served. I only had one beverage offered to me. I was bypassed when they were serving the coffee/ tea. Also, the timeliness with serving drink was bad... I waited about 4 hours before getting my first beverage on the flight home."

Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? USB charging, big screens in the headrests, games, remote control with keyboard and game controller, network cable for laptops without Wi-Fi even. The had pillows and blankets on every seat when we arrived and handed out hot towels before the first meal. They also provided a kit with eye mask, toothbrush, cologne, and slippers. Far better than we expected."

At the gate they checked our passports and boarding passes five times before boarding, every carry on bag was searched and every person was patted down. We even watched while one man held up his baby for a guard to pat the baby down! This was all after the security we’d received to get to our gate. So, if you left the gate to use the bathroom, you had to go through all the checks again."

Then, all of our electronics (laptop, camera, even headphones) other than our phones had to be taken. As everyone had to go through it , this delayed our flight by 1 hour. When we landed, we waited literally 1.5h before they started handing out our electronics. All in all, it took me 4 hours to leave the airport."

Not only am I incredibly frustrated that I could not bring my laptop onboard to do work, but the fact I wasn't told until right at boarding and it took extensive time to reclaim it makes Turkish airlines on par with Ryan Air for inconveniencing its customers. At baggage claim, the crew loaded our baggage on the incorrect track, making it take even longer to receive it. Seats and leg room are sub par. As someone who is 6'3, when the person in front of me put their seat back, I was forced to take a metal bar on the back of their seat to my knees (no matter the position). I will be recommending to both family and friends that they should avoid this airline at all costs."

My suggestion is to put the computer laptops in alphabetic order by last name/surname, with the claim ticket,for easier access when picking up. As for departure, probably at check in to inform them that if you have a laptop carry-on so that can be taken care of right away as not to delay departure when they take it at the departing gate. This should be done at check in if in Turkey, or as a transferring traveler, to inform the traveler to take care of that as soon as arrived to transferring destination and for the traveler not to wait until boarding time at the boarding gate."

缺點： "I was crowded in amongst a family who decided to camp in my row of 3 seats. (Literally, on the floor.) I could not move because I needed the bulkhead and aisle seat to stretch my legs. I am a Diabetic and needed it for circulation. I did not say anything but, the stewardess should have made one of the people go back to their seat as he was wedged near the window and sitting on the floor. It made my 13.25 hours trip very uncomfortable. They had a child with them so, I didn't wish to complain while on board."

Again, they only had 2-3 people handling the distribution of the laptops. I understand the security issue, but this issue was known for weeks now and there is no reason not to have enough people on the ground to take care of the boarding and distribution of electronic devices to at least make this an easier experience. There is no excuse for such poor preparation and service."
優點： "I got extremely sick on the flight from Istanbul to San Francisco. I now know I caught a stomach bug which hit me on the flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and then even worse from Istanbul to San Francisco. The flight from Istanbul was delayed by two hours due to customs delay for a passenger, as such there was a lot of recycled air. Take that and fact I'm pregnant and by time i started the 13 hour journey already felt sick. I started throwing up immediately and got sick 12 more times. the flight attendants brought me crackers, water and a cold towel and ice. My husband asked if he could pay to put me in business class but was not in airline policy. but i think given how sick and pregnant i was the flight attendant went to ask the captain if there was anything they could do to assist. they ended up moving me to business class to lie down and let me stay there for 3 hours. I got sick upon moving back but getting that rest really helped me. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and am so thankful to the two flight attendants who assisted: 1) Zumrat Bolukbas 2) Hatice (Cabin Chief) These women are amazing!"

優點： "Took Turkish Airline from New Delhi to San Francisco. The flight is at 6:55am from New Delhi, so a little early start - but the connection in Istanbul is excellently timed. The aircrafts were 777-300ER on both legs, and rather new. The entertainment is great and the TV screens are 11inches. Could not complain at all. Food is fine, standard fare, and there are some snacks available through entire flight. Istanbul is a reasonable airport for a short connection. Turkish allows 2 bags of 50lbs free - yet another reason to take it along with the reasonable fares."

This included a cover for the seat, a blanket and a big pillow. As opposed to United where you have to stick your feet in a little cubby the Turkish plane has just an open bench which opens to provide storage and gives ample foot room. I have never slept so much on a flt. Also he bathrooms are much more spacious than others."

That was awesome experience - very comfortable fully reclining seats, gourmet food and drinks, impeccable service, wide entertainment selection, etc. Even on the shorter leg flights we took (i.e. Istanbul to Rome and Dubrovnik to Istanbul) they served food (light snack). We flew economy from Istanbul back to SFO but got exit row seats so plenty of leg room and seats reclined good amount. Again, great service, food and entertainment. All the flights we had on our itinerary were newer planes. Turkish Airlines is so much better than American airlines!"

If you want to provide a better customer experience, equip all your planes with seats video screens. Passengers on a 4 to 5 hours flight don't want to have to figure out what do to watch a movie or TV. I don't fly American that often, but wanted to give it a try to see the difference between you and the other airlines. I have to say that on the return segment (ORD to SFO), I was not that impressed."

But the gate experience was horrible and the legroom, had it been a full flight, was miserable. I'm in search of an airline with a humane approach."

Exception: 20 minutes for flights departing from Toronto City Airport (YTZ)." Check in staff told me I should have gotten there 2 hours ahead. This is very conflicting. Considering I was heading to a 10 hour trade show, believe me that hour of sleep I lost between 2:30 when I had to get up for this flight and 3:30 when I could have gotten up sure was missed. Correct and consistent instructions to passengers go a long way."

The food is horrible and the type you'd expect on a puddle jumper from NY to Boston. Clearly Air Canada executives are aware that Canada and the US are separate countries. This is just an attempt to gouge the consumer. Unfortunately Air Canada is the only Airline I can fly out of Montreal so I'm stuck with them. : ("

My seat was at the very back of the plane next to the bathrooms. When the flight took off a funnel of water poured down my back from the baggage bins above. My entire back, pants and underwear got soaked. It was disgusting. The stewardess said it was most likely water from condensation/air conditioner and offered me some paper towels. I moved to the aisle seat. Thank goodness it was open, because when we landed a ton more water poured on to my old empty seat. Once again the stewardesses didn't think it was a big deal. I feel badly for whomever sat in that back seat the next flight out. I'm sure they got soaked too. The stewardesses could not have cared less. I'm sure they didn't bother to report it."

缺點： "On the way back from Quebec City to Montreal we were asked to check our carry-ons as luggage, because "there is no room' on the plane. It was an empty flight. ALL overhead compartments were empty. Both flights - Quebec to Montreal and Montreal San Francisco were late. As the result, we have to spend 1.5 hours in the baggage claim area, because "there are no baggage agents in SFO available". THAT WAS THE WHOLE REASON WE ONLY HAD CARRY-ONS! By far, one of the worst flight experience in the last 10 year."
優點： "Size of plane allowing for aisle seating."
缺點： "Delay with boarding for about hour without a good explanation. All monitors in airport shows plane on time when it actually was not. Boarding process also took a bit of time perhaps due to many elderly on the flight. Seating was also confusing as the middle seats did not correspond with aisle seating. This caused delays as passengers had to figure out where they were sitting. Checked in luggage at gate since flight was full and we were asked to volunteer to check-in luggage. At baggage claim, bag delay to retrieve luggage after already hour delay in departure. Bags was not labeled or categorized correctly causing an extra half hour delay to claim bags."
優點： "Entertainment and Food on Board was better than US carriers. Campbell Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup was not hot enough and not enough broth, Cheese was ok."
缺點： "We had yet another weather delay. Why put us on the Aiplane just to sit on the runway, Ground Stiop! The Custom process is not well explained and takes far too long. Very Bad! Because of all the delays for weather and a tight connection at Toronto we lost our Luggage. One day later at 11:00 pm we finally have our luggage. Bad!"
缺點： "Air Canada shares a trait with many other incompetent organizers: everything is fine if nothing goes wrong, but there are no contingency plans in place in case something goes wrong. So, things get more and more delayed. Can't you predict roughly when the plane is going to land (once it is in the air!) and arrange for some gate to be open, so that we don't have to sit on the ground for 45 minutes once it has landed, for example? People who know how to organize are ordinarily capable of doing that. Furthermore, the lack of transparency is really frustrating: we just sit on the tarmac with no indication of how long we're going to be there, and the estimates of the delays are completely wrong when we're given them."
缺點： "Flights delayed both there and back, with no advance warning and no reason given. Online & airport signage said flight "on time" the whole time. Asked Air Canada Customer Service desk in Toronto to change signage to accurate time, they were SUPER snooty and treated me like an idiot. Signage did not change, my husband came to airport "on time" to pick me up and then had to sit there 1-1/2 hours. They are inconsiderate jerks."

缺點： "Cabin crew seemed too much like salespersons. Aircraft was overly air conditioned but blankets were available only by purchase"

缺點： "The boarding process was a mess. This is due more to the Toronto airport than Air Canada. Passengers standing in front of the entrance to the gate made cueing up to enter when your zone was called impossible. Drinks were offered only twice on the 5 hour flight. Bathrooms were filthy."
優點： "All crews were nice and friendly."
缺點： "Would have been great if I had a Entertainment (movies, TV etc) screen on my seat for my Vancouver - KIX flight."
優點： "once i got through checking in everything was ok"
缺點： "if i knew the name of the man i talked to at checkin i would make a complaint specifically about him. i lost my passport a few days before coming home and went to the united states consulate where they told me to bring a printed copy of my passport and the united states boarding patrol would let me back into the united states. the man at the checkin didn't want to let me through to even speak to the united states border patrol and told me the consulate was wrong. i almost missed my flight because of his stubborn arrogance. once past him i was able to explain what happened and show what identification I had and everyone was very nice to me."

缺點： "I do understand mechanical issues occur, but your communication of these issues was awful! My god, you cannot tell if your electronics are working before you board people. One thing I can say for America, they do not mess around.....they fix problems....your team sucked leaving Toronto Barcelona two weeks ago and then you suck leaving Toronto to SFO. Please understand, folks have flight connections and the number one thing then need from you, instead of water is information on whether their flight will be waiting for them!!!"

缺點： "No snacks served, only beverages. We could have at least received one bag of nuts/chips for the flight."

缺點： "Kayak sent me an email indicating both my flights were on Air Canada but my flights to and from SFO were on United. I was unable to change my seats online with no explanation."

缺點： "We didn't like having to pay for carry on luggage. When we left SFO and flew to Montreal, if your bag was 21 inches, not 20 they checked it for free. Traveling back to SFO the counter person made us pay to check a bag, even though we knew if we went to the gate, they would take it. This was not good or consistent. We will not fly on Air Canada"
優點： "They offered complimentary head phones as an apology for the delay"
缺點： "We were delayed 95 minutes due to repairs. Consequently when we arrived in San Francisco we had to sit on the tarmack for 15 minutes waiting for a gate to open up."
優點： "I enjoyed the pleasant crew and the constant water being given."
缺點： "The crew was very pleasant and helpful. However it was unexpected that no food would be provided on a 5 hour flight. If not a small meal then a snack was expected. The crew did provide water consistently which was very nice. My personal entertainment screen was very unresponsive and then the head phone jack wasn't working for sound, I had to hold it at a certain angle to hear bits of sound. Since the head phone jack was located at my thigh it was very uncomfortable and when I shifted I broke my headphones :("
