Also, there were no vegetarian options for those who didn't book a special meal in advance. I am a star alliance member with Qatar and love their service. I didn't think Emirates would be below that standard because I have heard a lot about the airline and decided to fly them for a change. I was told that if there was any vegetarian option left behind I would get one but the steward didn't even have the decency to come back to tell me there wasn't any left. For the breakfast the steward was much nicer and was able to provide me with a vegetarian option."

缺點: "The crew at check-in & at boarding checked me in to fly to Tel-Aviv (transiting at Istanbul) without any comment on visa or passport at Washington D.C. In Istanbul, I was not allowed to board on the flight to Tel-Aviv. I was not allowed to stay in Istanbul. Crew (Erin Uler) who stopped me from boarding the flight said he would help, but disappeared. Othes kept sending me back and forth between transfer desk and sales desk with inconsistent advice every time. I had no way out, so decided I will fly to the closest European country. This was after I had been back and forth for 7 hours. I had to pay full for flight to Greece. I asked to be sent back to D.C. they could not even work that out. I have a return ticket to fly back to Washington D.C. with Turkish Airline on 1 Jan and they said they will need to re-ticket my paid return flight as well. Turkish airline crew did not would not help me fix my return flight back to D.C. They have asked me to contact the agent ( Kayak). Now I am stuck in Athens, a country I have never visited nor planned to. My tours & accommodation, all paid for in Israel, I have lost. I had a tour fully paid in Israel. I have no ticket to return back to D.C. even though I paid for ticket with cancellation insurance when I bought the ticket. The advice between Turkish crew who checked my passport (official) while I was flying out of D.C. vs the Turkish crew who stopped me from boarding was inconsistent. If I had been stopped in D.C. I wouldn't have had to face the events that followed. Now I have lost my tours, hotel in Israel. I had to pay extra for flight to Athens and I am paying for hotel and sundry in Athens while waiting for flight out. Turkish crew at Istanbul were not only unhelpful but rude and inconsistent. While I was waiting for 8 hours for a firm information, shouting matches between Turkish crew and customers went on at least a dozen times. Inconsistent information from Turkish staff has led me to be currently stuck in Athens. I am waiting for a way back to D.C. There should be a rule that fines an airline if they board people without accurate visa papers and they fail to check it. There should also be a fine to the airline if they stop people from boarding at a transit airport leaving passanger stranded with nowhere to go or return."

缺點: "We were traveling with our 1 year old. On any other flight, we've been given seats with extra legroom and a bassinet when available. Turkish airlines put us crammed in a window and middle seat for a 9 hour flight. It was absolutely un-doable. Everyone around us realized this and tried to help as we asked the flight attendant to help us and she said that I should ask other people to move around not her. We had to go around the plane begging people who were sitting with a bassinet and no baby to trade seats with us. It was an absolutely horrible experience. It was the airline's mistake, and we were the ones forced to try to fix it. Yes, we got a bassinet eventually, but not before we saw how mean and selfish other passengers could be pretending not to hear us and ignoring us. And no help from the crew."

And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

缺點: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

優點: "Much more civilised for the same cost (or less) as the budget carriers. Proper food and drinks included as is the norm with international flights even though it's a very short haul."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Airline few us into an airport that was the center of a political protest which was known at the time of takeoff. We should have been warned as it required 4 hours to leave the Barcelona airport, walking away from it 3 miles in the rain."

優點: "crew was initially helpful but then did not help with our connection but might have been out of their control-would have been nice to know that there was no chance to make connection with the initial flight delay We ran all the way and still did not make it-too far and connection was too tight with having to go thru customs very grateful to the Luftansa attendant who helped us at the desk of the gate to find and book another connetion"

優點: "The UI to watch videos on the plane is really good. They have good quality screens, so I watched movies for all the 12 hours of lfight I had."

缺點: "I couldn’t upgrade my seat since my ticket is ‘restricted’ even though I am willing to pay more for another seat. I am a tall person and was assigned a middle seat for a 7.5 hour flight. Flight was also delayed getting into Munich so I missed my connecting flight."

缺點: "Everything. From the chaotic boarding scheme to the uncomfortable seats that really didn't recline. Less than 2 hours into the fight, they were out of red wine. They were also out of chicken for dinner so the only choice was vegetarian pasta. As for movies, what happened to Gogo Entertainment? I had to use their headphones to watch the movies on their screen instead of my iPad. So, I couldn't use my bluetooth headphones. There was no close caption so it was hard to watch the movies amidst the noise of the engines."

缺點: "getting to DC 7 min late, we miss the flight to Muchen....literally watching the plane leaving. -waiting in line for United (since 2 flights were operated with them) they tell us we have to go to Lufthansa to solve the issue. -going to another terminal, to Lufthansa client service desk, they tell us is United who has to check us into a new flight. -on the phone with United, they give us as solution a 22h waiting period, with no hotel payment. -as one of us was still on the phone, the other is trying to find a solution with Lufthansa. Eventually they say that United was to transfer our tickets to them, so they can put us into the next flight to Munchen. -5 h later they finally manage to book us together, into a Munchen flight. -getting fine from DC to Munchen and Munchen to Bucharest, 7 h delayed but we get to Romania."

缺點: "Our flight to Munich arrived late. And our connecting flight to Milan was originally scheduled to leave just 50 minutes after our arrival in Munich. We did not make our flight to Milan and have lost a half day of time at our destination, as well as more than $100 in non-refundable Italian train tickets. Even if our plane had arrived to Munich on time it would have been nearly impossible to make our connecting website. Flight pairings with this short of a layover should not be suggested at this airport when travelers are required to go through passport control."

缺點: "Boarding is way too slow, and always seems to be so confusing. There were a couple of crying babies on the flight that make sleeping a lot harder. A German flight should have at least one German bier for their customers. Gate agents moved my wife and I into a row with another customer and gave our seats to single person-which makes no sense to me, so he had two open seats around him, and we were in a full row. B.S."

缺點: "This format of business class seating leaves a lot to be desired. There is literally no place to store anything except maybe your cellphone on the shelf under the TV screen. No room for a backpack on the floor - has to be in the overhead. Not convenient on an 8-hour overnight. Seats are tight - could not lay on my back - had to sleep on my side. No separation between seats - it was a 2, 4, 2 layout and the guy next to me coughed all night. At least I wasn't in one of the middle seats. Expensive flight for that type of setup IMHO. And given it was a 777, the plane was big enough."

優點: "Winter storm commencement in Chicago during take off didn't daunt the pros piloting this Lufthansa flight. Smiling, courteous service, good food and wine along with space to rest has made Lufthansa my new go-to for flying to Europe."
缺點: "Economy seats mean tiny unresponsive video screens. Playing a game of Mah-jong on the in-flight screen is nearly impossible. Bring your own tablet"

缺點: "The itinerary printed out that I was traveling Lufthansa so my nephew left me off at Terminal B; but after trying to print out my boarding pass unsuccessfully, the supervisor said that I was booked on United which is at Term C. I had to rush on the air train to the crowded Airtrain & running thru Security & Customs."

缺點: "Our plane was defective so had to be replaced. This is fine, I certainly am willing to wait for a new plane if it means not blowing up over the ocean. The problem was how little the attendants at the gate communicated the situation to us. What should have been a brief layover became a 12 hour nightmare. The gate attendants did finally issue meal vouchers but they waited until 10 minutes before all the restaurants closed and only issued $10 a person. This is enough to buy a hot dog at an airport... We were told there wouldn't be any rescheduling of missed connections until we were "airborne". This resulted in mass panic and confusion upon reaching our destination. We were told to go to the service desk, half an airport away, but once the entire passenger contents of the plane arrived at that far flung service desk, we were mostly turned away to seek help at individual gates. This lack of communication meant I missed the next next available connecting flight and now have a further six hour layover. I understand accidents happen and planes can break down but the nearly complete lack of care and customer attention is, frankly, disappointing. I've now had nearly an entire day added to my travel time. If I'd been willing to loose that time I would have paid $600 less for my ticket. United finally offered a token of their appreciation : a $100 e-voucher. I have spent more than that on food and coffee in airports for the past two days while trying to survive until my next connections."

缺點: "The flight was operated by United. It was a long 10 hour flight. The plane was not very convenient - there was no much leg room, the TV was a tiny one - impossible to watch."

缺點: "Not enough bathrooms. It is a real shame that United offers a grand total of 4 bathrooms for the entire economy class. People were always lined up! Compare with Lufthansa's A340 where you go downstairs and there are 7 bathrooms plus waiting space, where they also offer water, juice, chocolates, etc."

缺點: "No entertainment screen on each seat, just old TV far away. Very boring on this trip"

缺點: "At LEAST 35% of the seats were empty..... it was a 11 hours flight and 5 hours after departure I tried to take a nape somewhere where there was no one sitting. After one hour, the flight attendance woke me up saying there is premium economy and I cannot stay there... had to return to economy. I'm a hit disappointed since It was a while after the take of and I was not taking anyone sit..."

缺點: "First, our flight UA 194 was redirected back to SFO after 2 hrs of flight due to problem with weather sensor device or something of flight. Then we were cheated and provided with Economy class seat from FRA to MAA for the next day. We paid for full Business from SFO to India but our connecting flight was changed to Economy seat. Very very very poor and fraud technique from United crew. We are very sad about this and we will never ever take United or Lufthansa again. Never ever + we will request all our relatives to abandon these kind of cheaters."
