優點： The route, and the price.
缺點： I used them because I was in a pinch. I should have booked a return flight with Scoot instead. It is basically a flying cattle truck. With scoot you can pay for the upgrades you need to make it bearable. Air Asia X, seems to have nothing in this space which given how unpleasant the basic flight is, it would seem like a great way to make more money per traveler.
缺點： Late taking off. Sat 30 minutes at Beijing airport waiting to park, then waited 15 minutes for a bus transfer to the terminal build. Only one bus so deplaned at the speed of the slowest passenger. 10 min bus journey to the terminal building. Missed my flight to the UK. I recommend you use an airline that pays for an air bridge and can coordinate the ground staff to be ready for the planes arrival!
優點： This is very much a no-frills airline offering excellent value in my opinion. My business class flight from Kuala Lumpur to Seoul only cost £200.
缺點： There was no on-board entertainment and apart from a plate of vegetable rice, everything else had to be paid for. If that is what it takes to offer amazing prices then I think that it is a price worth paying.
優點： In flight meal.
缺點： Got told luggage would go straight to bali from origin in Nepal. Waited at baggage check in jarkata just in case. Sure enough, our baggage comes out. Transfer to domestic terminal was almost impossible since we were given no information and our flight number changed completely. All of a sudden it was batik air not malindo, which has a completey different terminal. Will not be travelling with malindo again.
缺點： This was a return flight I was taking. But even though I paid for a bag when booking, Kayak only booked the bag on the flight over. It there for cost me $48 to book the bag on at the airport one way back. For some reason when I was paying they could not take for the full amount on my CC and so I had to go change money as $8 had to be paid cash (very strange). The flight was very uncomfortable. I could go into detail but now I’m just ranting. Not happy. Won’t be doing that again.
