Our original ticketed dates were canceled and we were rebooked for a day later at the start and end of our trip without ever being notified. Waited on hold over an hour 4 separate times for assistance from Japan air, since kayak and chatdeal refused to help. Japan air never answered and kayak would only offer to rebook us if we paid a $2000+ Difference in cost. Absolutely horrid overall experience. The Japan airlines flight crew was excellent, but we’re now departing and arriving on dates we did not choose.

I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". Great flight. everything was good but food. Pasta for breakfast. Beef flavor dish(not much beef to be found) with rice and couple of small salads.

優點: "I have gotten used to long flights on various American airlines where it seems the staff do the minimal amount. Service is so incredibly better on Japan Airlines. Staff respond when you ask for assistance. They smile and work with the passengers. They were actively present almost all the time which was amazing. There is just no, "no," on Japanese Airlines. I loved the media options."

The flight was a little bumpy because of rain as explained by crew. Food:Some passengers were asked choose their preferred meal but were later on asked to take the other one because of limited quantity

The crew was good. Plane was old. No USB to charge my phone. Imagine a 10 hr flight with an old screen not even clear images. The worst part all of my father and my boxes are damaged. It’s all squished, broken, ripped and damaged. All souvenirs and breads I got from my homeland all damaged. Imagine the disappointment I got. My aunt and father are old and in wheelchair. The agent didn’t help us at all. Had me moved all my luggages. Worst part left them in wheelchairs in the middle of the baggage carousels area by themselves. Didn’t explain anything to them while I was as getting all our checked in luggage that’s tagged all the to anchorage. So now I’m left with all luggages and my wheel-chaired older family by ourselves no assistance at all. With damaged luggages to one to ask for help or anything.

It is what it is. MILM would have been nice to have with snacks.

So hot inside the plane, no air condition, no food, no comfort measures given to passengers. They should have not let passengers to board knowing that there is mechanical problem. 優點: "Asiana staff are not trained in medical issues such as what to do when a passenger complains they are feeling weak from low blood sugar/hypoglycemia conditions. It is common for people with low blood sugar to have blood sugar drops while flying. The condition is dangerous if not handled properly but can be remedied very easily by simply increasing a passenger's intake of protein (such as chicken or beef) and carbohydrates, such as rice (but not white bread or deserts, as those cause spikes and drops in blood sugar). Basically, you only need an extra meal. I told a crew member about my condition and said I simply needed a second meal. She gave me a problem about it and at first refused. She understood the English words low blood sugar, but she was obviously not trained in that common issue. I was ready to pass out due to a drop in blood sugar and only when I threatened to file a lawsuit in a U.S. court against Asiana (as I anticipated passing out) did she react. Within a few seconds after I mentioned a potential lawsuit, she got me a second meal of chicken and rice. I ate it and the protein and carbs stabilized my blood sugar for the rest of the flight. It's a problem easily remedied but I had to argue with the flight attendant to grant my very simple but very necessary request. Asiana needs to comply with the norms of global carriers and train its staff to understand such comment conditions as low blood sugar. U.S. and European carrier understand this condition very well, and their crews are trained in how to handle it by simply giving extra food. Asiana needs to comply with modern, global norms."

優點: "Flight attendants are great. always trying to help , with a smile while doing so."
缺點: "Delay 50 minutes waiting for connection flight 2 nd time (50%) on this trip, appears that this airline is getting bigger and disregarding schedules for $$$. Also advanced on line seating is meaningless. Internet web-sight is always a problem finding the correct pages if you have a problem no local contact listings (tel. #) in major cities they have offices in. I had a Tel. # for office in BKK, used in the past , they changed the # without even leaving a message or new #. I needed to change my departure date & because I could not contact them thru web sdite or Tel. this was not possible & missed a very important meeting in N.Y."
缺點: "Asiana Airline allowed a drunken passenger sit next to me. Everyone can smell and knew that he is drunken. The 1st thing he did after sitting was drinking alcohol from his pocket. Yes, one of the staff came to him and got the drink from him. But, he talked me for about 4hours nonstop and made me uncomfortable at all. Other passengers around me saw him because he talked too loud. I expected that they would offer me another sit and left him alone. During 10 hrs flight, I had 2 Tylenol capsules because of the smell of the alcohol from him. It was REALLY hard time for me to sit next to him during 10 hrs. DO NOT ALLOW A DRUNKEN PERSON TO GET ON A PLAIN FOR OTHERS."
優點: "Again a very friendly and attentive cabin crew and I enjoyed the Korean food options. Legroom was good for a coach seat. The boarding process was fine and the Incheon airport had an interesting cultural center as well as good food options during a fairly long layover."
缺點: "I had some problem operating the controls for the movie options and could only get to the first four Hollywood movie options. I probably should have asked for some help."
優點: "Plane was clean and attendants polite"
缺點: "Boarding seemed very random as no rows were called."
