Also, not enough knee space, especially when the person in front of you puts there seat back. 缺點: "We were informed our flight was not to land in Haneda but at Narita. We specifically picked that flight pattern because of the ease of traveling from Hawaii to Haneda to Naha. We wouldn't have to drag two large suitcases and a rollaboard after checking out of customs and immigration very far. Same airport to land and depart. Well the arrival airport was changed to Narita $32.00 per person for Airport Limobus to Haneda. We get off at Haneda and are informed we cannot stay there and wait at the domestic airport for our 6:25 am flight to Naha. We had to load all 6 pieces of luggage on the shuttle bus and transfer to the international terminal because they close the domestic terminal at midnight. There was no hotel accommodations at the domestic airport as the hotel was booked two months in advance!!! We had to wait at the international airport terminal till 4:30 am when we then transferred back to the domestic terminal with our 6 pieces of luggage. Tell me how happy you'd be!!!"

優點: "The crews on ANA (Flight Attendants) are the hardest working, most polite and service oriented of ANY carrier I can remember. When the cabin lights are ON, the crew is hustling to keep the passengers occupied and chewing. Free Beer, Wine and mixed drinks in Coach! Every Service - Snack, Drinks, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee/Tea, Second and Third rounds of drinks includes a cold towel to wipe your face and hands and most important, trash is collected promptly EVERY single time. WOW. I noticed that Flight Attendants take notes on sleeping passengers for every major meal service, and they take the time to revisit those customers when awake to check they might have wanted to be fed. I also noticed that the crew has special double sided tape to pickup crumbs and spills in the aisles so grime is not tracked into the carpet. Dont be surprized to see a flight attendant cruising the aisle after dinner with a soft cooler full of small vanilla Hagen Daz cups..."
缺點: "We flew from Bangkok to Washington Dulles with a connection in Tokyo. Snow in Japan caused crew shifts to max out and ultimately a dramatic change in flight departure. (Guaranteeing a missed connection) This caused multiple downstream challenges. 1. Original flight was scheduled for 00:30. (Half Past Midnight), rescheduled flight was scheduled for 12:30 (Half Past Noon) For Americans unused to a 24 hour clock, this made emails From ANA very difficult to wrap your mind around. Was it a typo? What happens when you miss your connection? (Turns out weather delays do NOT result in accommodations or meals being provided) Rescheduled flight should have been for 1231 with (AM/PM in Parentheses) 2. For passengers who spent their vacation/trip near the equator, the prospect of spending the night in snowbound Tokyo was simply not addressed in the cancellation email. The better option was to stay in your original point of origin and make the connection in one day, but email has NO telephone number for passengers to call to make these arrangements. (We ended up calling a toll California telephone number to be sure we got an English speaking agent) 3. Many SE Asian departing cities have a crazy baggage weight policy that allows for Two bags of 25 Kilos each , but if you have a single bag that weights 32 Kilos, you must pay excess baggage. Although the policy may NOT be specific to ANA, there are hundreds of folks of all nationalities repacking suitcases on the floor of the airport, to try to meet the regulations. As a traveler I understand this, but as an ANA customer it makes no sense, especially when the ticket agent cannot charge the overage to a credit card at the ticket counter. Instead sending you to a different location then waiting for you to return with a receipt. Its a huge scam and ANA can do better communicating the rules to passengers via email or their web site. Nothing starts a long trip off worse than arguments over arcane rules. 4. Changing a return flight arrangement as a result of weather happens at the last moment, but seat assignments apparently could not keep up. I would rather NOT fly than face a center seat in coach for 14 hours. I cannot explain what happened, but repeated attempts at advance check in showed NO assigned seats available, the ticket and gate agents could not improve on this, but BOTH flights ended up having empty seats and in the end we stressed for nothing. ANA must be able to do better, improving their IT systems to make advance seat assignments possible no matter how challenging the problem of "equipment" and other changes in the face of a canceled flight."

I wish that ANA will notbpartner with United. It sure tarnishes their brand."

優點: "ANA staff are generally well trained (but are you really allowed to land with your laptop open on your lap as some people were?) ... good service overall, good movie selection, food varies from OK but boring to very good indeed ."

缺點: "No online check-in, long waiting at in-person check-in. Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances."

The Xiamen rep at Lax didn’t let me board first and I explained and they gave me the visa waiver paperwork. It was so much of hassle. I’ve laid over many Chinese cities via different airlines and never had any problems. Will not fly again on Xiamen!!"

I got this Chinese transit visa just to transfer because of the airport layout and that part was also didn’t make sense. They didn’t accept my middle “Y” on the boarding pass and it was so much of hassle to argue and finally let me through. Will never fly again on Xiamen."

I had to purchase a ticket on another site to get home or be stranded in Manila. Kayak doesn't have a customer service number to fix this."

缺點: "I was very sick and contagious and asked for a single person hotel room for the night before a connecting flight. It was not accommodated. It would have cost extra 100-200 yuan. Then when we asked for the shuttle to the hotel, the security at the departures level meant we could not exit and be picked up. No one could arrange pick up at arrivals. Instead we paid for a taxi ourselves. Poor service and coordination, especially considering I could barely talk and just badly needed a rest."

優點: "Kept me well hydrated, supplied tissues that helped me bear a long flight while sick. Early arrival appreciated. Fresh fruit was good."
缺點: "Crew might have cleared away medications by mistake but they tried hard to find it, inquired all attendants and even looked through the trash. I missed the passing of of declaration forms twice while I was in the bathroom and when we landed the customs people directed me wrong so I had to wait a long time in line to get through customs without water which made me sicker and I had to go to the doctor."

缺點: "couldn't book through from Shenzhen yp Guilin. Had to check-in again at Fuzhou and go through security again."

優點: "Excellent, friendly service on a terrific plane. More leg room than the average (American) airline for a long flight. Had to call Customer Service. They were as helpful as they could be."
缺點: "There was no computer check-in even for people with no bags to check. Long wait on line to check-in. Probably could use more staff at airport. TSA wait that night was also very long. Not Xiamen's fault of course."

優點: "The entertainment system the company provides for international flights is very nice. Movies and games keep you entertained."
缺點: "Flight was Shanghai to Fuzhou, 10 hour layover and Fuzhou to JFK. Our flight from Shanghai to Fuzhou was delayed for 3 hours for "inclement weather" - it was clear in Shanghai. Flight company communicated to progressive, who the flight was booked through, that the flight would be an hour late, so I received a text saying new departure time would be an hour later. This was false. After that hour the only messages we were getting at the airport were "flight is delayed, new departure time will be announced later". We arrived in Fuzhou 3 hours later, at 0300. The bus ride to the hotel provided by the airline is one hour each way, and our connecting flight was 0900, so it was a waste of time to try to get to the hotel. This means we just stayed in the airport all night and boarded our next 15 hour flight with no sleep, no shower and nothing to eat. Customer service for flight would announce turbulence every 3 minutes, even after plane was having turbulence for 10-15 minutes. This freezes entertainment. Etc etc. many other small disorganized things as well."

優點: "The company that Kayak use for my ticket (Yayama) had some random passport number on my reservation. The ticket agent told me that I had to call to travel agent to get it changed. I tried to call three times (from China) and all three time I was put on hold to 10 to 15 minutes then disconnected. I finally got someone at the service desk to call the airline and get the passport number correct. This added over an hour to my check in process. Luckily, I arrive early and was able to make the flight, no help from Yayama. Terrible!!!!"

優點: "I liked how much space I had when I was on the plane, the meal and thw drink was good."
缺點: "There was no automatic check in online or no place to check where to flight to, for exampleT3 or T4 to the building. For foreigners, this is a big deal because I felt lost and uncomfortable. And there was not a very good reminder of the flight. The ususal reminder should be send out within 24 hours, however, it didn't show on the first trip and it popped up when return but 4 or 5 hours to the flight. This need to be changed!!!"

優點: "Great service, frequent meals and beverage services. Constantly checked in with me to see if I needed anything, comfortable seats, and plenty of movies available for lengthy flights. Xiamen airlines does offer a free hotel service for people that are experiencing their 12+ hour layover, but this is always based on double occupancy and the passenger needs to pay for the taxi fair to and from."
缺點: "When flying to Xiamen, we had to have a quick layover in Shenzen for some reason, that didn't seem necessary. This airline plans on getting rid of this stop, but on top of that the layover in Xiamen is a bit excessive. Besides that, great airlines."

優點: "Crew was excellent! They were kind and respectful as well as very professional."
