His response was that he could not get into the ANA system and that I have to go to the ANA counter to ask for that information. Given that my layover in Narita was only about 45mins landing to going to the gate, I was not comfortable with not knowing if I would be on that flight or not. The Thai Airways representation at the boarding counter did help me a bit and got in touch with a guide in Narita to help me get my luggages and get to gate properly. I wanted to note that we did not arrive in Narita on time due to the high air traffic so the plane had to circle around for 15 mins. When we finally landed I had about 15 mins to get through the custom and ran to my gate. When I received my ticket I was shocked that I got a middle seat on a 13 hours flight! If I have known this earlier I would have paid for a better seat, but since I was not able to check-in online and didn't receive any info about this flight prior to boarding I was not allowed to change on this full flight. In addition, the plane ride was awful. The food was disgusting and the seat was very uncomfortable. The seat did not even recline back! I don't expect much from a short distance flight but for a 13 hour long flight, I at least expect the seat to be slightly better than sitting on a rock against a brick wall. All in all, this was a HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE I went through. The stress and the discomfort on the plane was an experience that no one should ever feel while traveling. It was an awful nightmare on an ANA flight. I would like a refund on this flight with no exceptions. Sincerely, Jessica Saesue"

We were not told about the possibility of our flight being cancelled as we arrived at check-in, we were allowed to check our bags first, issued boarding passes and *then* we were told to come back to check in counter in 3.5-4 hours. Our checked luggage had already been taken and with it, clean clothes, toiletries and other items that could have made the waiting more comfortable. After coffee and a snack we decided to check in to the capsule hotel at Narita. Minimum stay was one night at that hour of the day - for stays after 6pm. While I appreciated that Cathay got us out later that evening, the plane we flew was one of the oldest in the fleet: the seats did not recline at all so it was very uncomfortable. It was a late night flight but no one was offered pillows or blankets. (I did receive one upon request). We arrived in Hong Kong in the early hours of the next morning - 3 hours late - after the airport train had finished running so I paid for a taxi home which I normally would not need to do since I already had a train ticket. so my flight experience did cost me some extra money this trip."

We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

缺點： "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."
優點： "Staff both at the airport and in the plane were professional and welcoming. Depsite short distance sandwich and drink were offered."

缺點： "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."

缺點： "It was really unclear which desk to use at Birmingham airport to check in. It was extremely stressful for a first time flier as I had no idea what to do - the desk location wasn't marked clearly and when no staff were there it wasn't clear that the desk was open."
優點： "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."
缺點： "The seats in economy were a little too small for a 12 hour flight"
優點： "The crew were lovely and welcoming. We was given snacks and drinks on the flight which was great. Take off was a bit delayed but boarding was smooth. Couldn't complain about the comfort as was only just over an hours flight."

缺點： "Immediately after all passengers were boarded United discovered the plane had to be replaced. We all had to deplane, wait an hour more for a new A320, and reboard. Also irritating that delays are posted at 15 minute intervals and then updated; so you have to keep updating friends & family via WiFi. If it's predicted to be an hour, say so."
缺點： "Unfortunately flight was delayed for 2 hours on top of a 3h42m layover"
優點： "I was happy to finally receive a drink one the flight started. A waterbottle at the seat and not other service would have been nice. Wifi was not working. The seats were small and cramped. My seat did not stay either up or down...it kept moving around and would not stay adjusted. However the crew was fantastic and our two female pilots were amazing. Captain Amy touched down in Phoenix was one of the smoothest I have ever experienced."

優點： "Zero leg room! That actually was surprising as most other airlines have a lot more legroom. In flight entertainment was also lacking. Doesn't make sense to pay $7.99 for a 2.5hr flight. A lot of other airlines offer some sort of complimentary in flight entertainment. Also the luggage didn't start coming out for at least 30 mins of waiting at baggage claim. Not the worst experience I've had flying but far from being a good experience. It probably isn't worth flying united unless it's 1st class. But even they had to wait 30+mins for luggage!"

缺點： "Crew was rude, not just to me, but to other patrons. Flight was packed going and the man scanning boarding passes spoke to those of us asking simple questions as if we were stupid and defiant. Was he a prison guard in his previous job? On the way to Newark, I had an aisle seat. One of the stewardesses blazed by me with a cart ramming it into my shoulder without so much as a, "sorry." I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

I love the pet friendliness as well as every employee through United I met today from the bdl check in crew , to especially the flight crew on flight558 iAd to phx who I believe was from Houston and their Texas roots truly shined. Every crew member was Sooo attentive professional Cleanly pleasant and always smiling and happy to come around. Other crews could learn from this crew please take notice !!! I have never been so impressed (and I am a frequent flyer )"

With the price of airline tickets I think this should be the new norm, flights are boring and uncomfortable give us something to take our minds off that aspect. They have the normal snacks and food that other airlines offer on a longer flight. The crew was very engaging and professional."
缺點： "I don't like the new seats. There is a curvature that doesn't work so well for my short 5'2'' frame. My partner who is taller did like the seats. The person next to me was about 6 feet tall and when the passenger in front of him reclined the chair was pressed up against his knees the entire flight."

缺點： "Longest security line I've ever seen. I almost missed my flight though I was 3 hours early. Weird set up at departures. At gate warned flight overbookedso we were all stressed we may not even get seat though mine was booked months in advance. I was in zone 4 and they only allowed zones 1-3 to stow carry on items that we had to already lug around the airport for hours. I was forced to check my regulation sized bag in the passageway to the plane as well as everyone else in my zone. Economy seat especially tiny and cramped. Unpleasant flight attendents."

Whatever happened to the days when you get on an airplane and food and entertainment was a part of your ticket price! Another thing that bothered me was the fact that I had to pay $25 for my suitcase! Really United! Am I not allowed one piece of luggage? I don't like carry my bags around with me so now I have to pay to check it! Shouldn't that be the other way around! Charge for carry on luggage, it's such a hassle and also slows down boarding time, cases congestion in the hallway with everyone reaching for their luggage in the overhead bins! I can keep going, but what good is it gonna do. United airlines suck!"
