優點： "The seat I selected was the first row of regular economy. It had extra legroom and received excellent attention by the staff for drinks. The arline served 3 meals and snacks on the flight. I felt like I was eating the entire trip. :)"
缺點： "The seats were quite narrow. Most of the rows behind had armrests that were able to raise and lower, but due to my seat selection, my row had the stow-away monitors in the armrests. The seats also didn't technically recline. The lower seat cushion merely moved forward, emulating a recline, but the seatback didn't actually move. It was not quite comfortable."

Other passengers were not impressed. I would like the airlines to take the initiative to have all children boarded early as if we board with everyone else, the aisles will be blocked as my children try to get organised."

缺點： "Hello- The system for online checking was down (I think) it took a lot of time to check in. By the time we got to passport control, there was a huge line and an hour and half was left before take off. Anyways we joined the line. Half way through, 45 min before flight (flight was eventually delayed for an hour I think but we did not know that at the time) we realized that we were definetly going to get late and were looking for any Emirates person (whilst in line) who could guide us. Eventually someone did came and told a group (some way ahead of us) that people flying to Lahore and Karachi can go to another office for passport control (we ran to that office). I believe instead of sending 1 person to a line of say 300+ people to fetch for people for Lahore and Karachi can devise a contingent plan for these kind of situations. Maybe use a hand held digital board asking passengers with Flight no:XXX to head to a place so and so. Maybe megaphone can be used. Instead of passenger anxiously trying to get to 1 person whilst keeping in line to get some important information. In flight I used the button twice to call a crew member for some juice and water. But nobody came. But that might be understandable as there was a lot going on some 1 hour after dinner I think and is not a big problem. Don't know what kind of coordination they have with Dubai airport staff, seemed least bothered."

Aircraft was very cramped- no room to walk in the aisle without hitting the aisle seats. Overhead compartments were crammed full and it was very difficult to find space for a small bag."

優點： "So, as mentioned, this was our first time flying Emirates and from our flights from Maryland to Dubai to Philippines has been pleasant, the only issue we've had was with the security process and an incident that my wife encountered in Dubai when we were in the process of boarding to go to Washington Dulles. We landed in Dubai and we were in transit to our connecting flight. We went to our assigned gate and had to check in with security prior to waiting in our gate or boarding the plane. We checked in our electronic devices and my wife was asked to be checked. There wasn't anything wrong up until that moment. My wife cooperated with all the requests of the security agent. They asked her to go inside a security room/enclosed area and the first thing that the security agent asked my wife was why she wasn't wearing her wedding band. It was obvious that she was married because she had a tan line of the marks of wearing a ring. It was her travel ring and she removed it because it was too tight and she explained that to the agent. The agent then made the comment "so you got fat on this trip?". My wife was confused on what she said and asked her "what did you say?". The agent then repeated ..."So you're fat... that's why the wedding ring doesn't fit?" My wife was furious but maintained her cool because she didn't want to give a reason for her to be held from getting on the flight. I didn't see the situation take place and I don't know if there was anything that triggered her comment. My wife felt humiliated. I don't know the agent's name but I wanted to address the incident. Our experience with Emirates has been very pleasant but having to feel helpless after someone with authority to make that comment was humiliating and ruined the rest of her time on the flight as well as mine."

They proceeded to check us in on their computer and insisted that we use their paperwork, not mine. What a farce. What a waste of paper and my time."

缺點： "Four travelers were seated in 4 different areas on flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco flight. Three of us of us were senior citizens. Two had disabilities and were.not accommodated in any way by Cathay Pacific (CP) while loading in the four areas of the plane. Those of us that we're physically able could not help those with mobility issues because of the proximity of the seating, I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well. I traveled internationally to Asia three times now on CP and the first two were excellent. In the past had had flown other carriers on out trips to asia. This experience on this flight was beyond bad. I had plan on several more trips to Asia the next three years, and I will say that at this point, I will not fly CP again. Something needs to change. A call to me is in order. I witnessed several gaps in CP systems and other issues with training the staff. Your survey did not specify the flight crew. Except for the loading issues and the lack of information about Customs being.closed at SF, the service was world class...what I had come to expect from CP"

優點： "Boeing 777 had an upgrade on the video display software, making for a more manageable video experience. It's easier to navigate because of the ability to close screens and go back to the screen you were on, rather than having to start over each time."
缺點： "I received a polite e-mail and a text message an hour or two later indicating that my flight from Taipei to HongKong had been delayed. It took a login to the Cathay Pacific web site to figure out that with the rescheduled time, I would miss my connecting flight from HongKong to Boston if I didn't change anything. I managed to sort it out, though it took using my cell phone to place an international call to the HongKong Cathay Pacific office to get me on an earlier flight. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service -- had I not had WiFi access or an international capable cell phone, I would have been stranded in Taipei or HongKong an extra day. I think CP could have done more to notify and help remediate the situation knowing the implication of the rescheduled flight. Food also remains mediocre, though slightly better."

Being on a plane for that long, you should be able to get a cup of coffee. Staff seemed annoyed as well and were overall a bit rude. Wine tasted like acid."
