Room was large enough ... not huge, but more than enough space for us. The hotel was clean and although elegant, it was comfortable too. Staff was wonderful.
It was located perfectly for us and everything was great. Would not change anything. A perfect place to stay for a perfect weekend!
Convenient for short visits
Clean rooms. Convenient location in downtown San Francisco.
The hotel presents itself to be a resort facility and charges accordingly including a resort fee but there are few if any resort features to it. There is no pool or hot tub no view of any sort except going outside, no breakfast available. The rooms are small and it shows that they have been carved out of an old apartment (or office) complex. They have expresso machines in the rooms in place of coffee makers we found them difficult to get them to work.
Nicely renovated, but clearly an old original building, in a good way. Room is small but comfortable. It's in the middle of downtown, so street noise is loud, but that goes for every hotel in the middle of the city.
Clean, compact, convenient
Location was excellent, my room was clean and felt modern even though the rooms were obviously older.
Lovely hotel for holiday weekend
Galleria Park staff were friendly, welcoming, and accomodating. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable.
The staff did get a little frazzled at the front desk with the large volume of guests for the weekend. There was only one HDMI cable available for the entire hotel and it was taken for the duration of my stay.
Small, but cozy and nice!
Great location, very helpful and accommodating staff.
The room was a little on the small side for the price.
Loved the complimentary wine hour and friendly staff!
Quite, clean, comfortable.
Charged sales tax for honor bar when we never used the honor bar.
It is a good hotel in a good location. The price I paid was higher for the standard of the hotel.
All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Modern decor, well renovated. Outdoor park area was a nice touch.
Room was small. Space was tight. Since it was just me, this wasn't a problem.
Friendly staff, free very good wine between 5:30 and 6:30 PM
No eating facilities
Elegant, stylish, tasteful, and somehow affordable! Felt proud to stay in such a beautiful space. Loved the clean, but modernized antique details, soothing colors, and the fact that the overall look was not as overdone/over designed as many other hotels in which I have stayed. Proves that style need not cost $400 a night! No competition in my book in this price range for as stylized a place as this hotel happens to be. I would gladly skip some of the other 4 star amenities such as a pool or super large lobby to stay somewhere this lovely and reflective of my own lifestyle. Thank goodness I didn't have to stay in a big bland box hotel chain with cherry furniture and 1990 floral print bedspreads! My vacation was so much better as a result.
My room was a bit warm - no matter how many times we turned down the heat, but as a result we slept like babies! To be fair, I never even told the staff about it, so they didn't even know.
The friendly helpful staff, especially Joel and Grant working on reception. The Manager's wine time allowed us to engage with other guests, this helped us tom enjoy our visit.
The central heating system in the suite was problematic and we had to ask for assistance twice, the spitting hot water burned my hand on one attempt to turn the heating up!
Very clean; very helpful staff; the wine tasting is a marvelous lagniappe, led to new friendships; location excellent; price very reasonable; would recommend to anyone!
Our room is facing the street, therefore it was too noisy while sleeping
The decor, location were exceptional and even though the renovations weren't complete it didn't detract from our stay. The happy hour at reception was a great idea. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location and cleanliness (newness) of rooms. Wine hour was a fun addition - a great way to start a night. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom could have benefited from updating. But I would stay at this hotel again and will recommend this hotel to friends so this is only a minor negative.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is fantastic. The staff were very friendly.
Nothing ,the staffs are rude
Yes the rudeness of the front office workers
central location , free internet access,
busy conceirge who doubles up as valet parking staff . no coffee house , tiny room , limited facilities. Hotel booking was incorrect, but the staff was fair enough to give the rate agreed upon after some haggle
