Overall very nice hotel in a good location. The breakfast room was great with a decent selection of items.
When my wife and I first walked into our room it smelled like stale cleaning products, we assumed the room had been cleaned the day before but since the window was closed it did not air the room out. Once we turned the A/C on it was significantly better. Also our mattress had a rather large dip in the middle of it which caused a little difficult sleeping And the pillows where very small and flat.
Nice Visit - Great Well Kept Facilty with Helpful
The room, furnishings, and overall site are well kept and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Everything was in order for our 1 night visit. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and polite. I accidentally booked the wrong evening and did not realize it until I called to confirm a late arrival. He was able to get us a room that night and resolve the change via the booking site I used. Breakfast had a good select of cereals, fruit, breads, yogurts and more (that was all I was interested in) - there was plenty of seating available. Coffee and a limited selection were available outside in the courtyard - a nice touch. This facility is a great find for the price vs. national brands in the area. I would return here without hesitation on future visits to Santa Cruz.
