The staff at the reception are really nice & friendly.
We can hear noise from other guests along the corridors & it affected our sleep. Also, the location is pretty inconvenient as it was a long walk to the nearest Metro Station.
Not far from Termini (some 15 min walk); the personal is very friendly and helpful, the rooms and bath are clean.
They don't accept credit cards (but I knew about this in advance). Well, anything else was nice.
Location was good, it wasn't too far from the station but far enough to be quiet, the road was nice. Most of the staff was helpful, specially the younger guy at reception that gave us useful tips on where to eat and how to get to places. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, we had an ensuite room. Breakfast is in the coffee shop next door and consist of a croisant of your choice and a proper Italian cappuccino.
The road you have to walk from the station to the hotel is not very nice but it is only about 5 min walk. Also, I was asked on the first night there (at 1am when coming back to the hotel, if when checking out we could pay by cash as their card machine wasn't always working. As the check out would have been 3 days later I found it quite strange to eb told this so far in advance, so on the check out day I just paid by cash and it worked fine. I think they just try to get more cash payments to avoid the card charges.
They held a bag for us for several weeks.
I didn't like anything about the Felice.Bad location, small, ugly room, unfriendly staff that spoke almost no English, no air conditioning despite the heat, and unbelievably noisy street! I could not sleep despite taking sleeping pills because of the street noise, even with the window shut(which was brutal with the heat) Never stay here!
Given the cost of accommodation in Rome this was reasonable. But it had a shared bathroom. Breakfast was basic and served in a nearby cafe. My street side room was very noisy at night. Handy for Rome Termini station and the metro. So overall a convenient and not unreasonable place to stay but very basic.
I would have preferred a higher standard and en suite but I knew what to expect and it was OK for what I wanted.
Great hotel to stay near Termini station for travel to/from airports and within short walking distance of good restaurants/minimarkets etc.Nice, clean room with good staff.Closest is the Colloseum (10 min). Hotel Felice gives you a free map of the city which is very useful.
Room was very clean as was the shared bathroom. Great restaurants in the nearby vicinity.
The room is above a restaurant, so it can be noisy. The staff speak very little English and were a bit curt. Not helpful with baggage. No lift.
The neighborhood and the closeness to Termini station without being right next to it
Not having an elevator
Was clean
Noisy rooms, special in the night because most people have shared badrooms & have to walk over the hall to badrooms, which was very noisy. Staff speak no english. Breakfast was included, but was not at hotel and was just one croissant and 1 bad cofee. Surrounding was not nice
Rooms are nice and clean and you get new towels etc every day
rooms are very small, the area is not great, breakfast is poor
