The location, opposite Penn Central, easy access from the JFK airport
The room was not clean, the bathroom was in a very poor condition, the room was noisy. The breakfast which had been excellent is now a candy store and all that was available was a"continental" breakfast of a pastry, a coffee and a juice!!!, served from a cupboard, almost no seating to eat the poor fare. I was charged $30 for Facilities which was not shown on the web site nor could the desk staff explain what it was for. I queued for over an hour to check in, this is not good after a long journey. The hotel has deteriorated in the last twelve months.
Mouse in room
Everything, poor service, not clean, there was hair in the bath, a mouse in my room, rooms need updating. Cues to check in are rediculous. I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and will never go again or recommend to anyone. The only positive is the location, and to be honest I would rather stay further out and get a taxi into the city than stay here again
I loved the position of the hotel and the comfort of the bed. That's all you needed really , it wasn't a big room but you knew That going in , the water was hot for such a big hotel and Whenever l needed help from reception etc it was not a problem.
Didn't find the wifi coverage very good.
