The setting and landscaping is great, but there is
Loved the hotel's landscaping and the deign of the facility. I've never seen a landscaping crew work as hard, and their efforts showed. Liked the pool a lot as well.
The staff's professionalism can really be improved. They weren't rude but They need to work on the little things. My wife asked the front desk for a list of the costs associated with the hotel's laundry service. The guy at the front desk says "it's found in the closet near the tv" (which it wasn't). This is supposed to be a five star hotel. Other places would apologize and quickly go find a list for their guests, instead of fault the blame on their guests. Additionally, there is no hair conditioner in the hotel's bathroom. I understand that some may not require this, but I'd be willing to bet a good portion of the hotel's guests do. You have to personally request conditioner from the hotel's maid service. Weird. And finally, their drink pool service has a lot to improve upon. I had to go to the hotel's other bar on the other side of the hotel to get drinks by the pool. On the last day of my stay, the hotel staff told me I could call that bar and they would deliver drinks over to the pool, but when I called, no one answered.
The architecture and decor is suberb. The attention to detail is beyond description. Location is wonderful. It is wonderfully tranquil and reminded me of the Lost City in Beijing.
