Location close to universal studios.
Everything. The place was dirty, baseboards, floor and shower. I didn’t get parking. I had to park on the metered street, and they would pay for my meter. They told me I would have a parking spot and that I can only park 1 car, but it got full because they let others park more than one car. The bed was not comfortable, and the staff was not customer oriented.
Location was good, ideal for an inexpensive place
Fixtures were old but serviceable
clean nothing fancy
The location was great! It was neat, clean, and overall a great deal.
The bath towels were very small which made for toweling off after a shower interesting.
The doors locked, the beds were fine to sleep in, but basically everything else was horrible, and we paid over $100.
The beds were write up aghast the walls, the shower flooded the entire bathroom, bugs on the bathroom floor, little morning water pressure, no wi-fi -- though said they had it, breakfast were a few muffins, orange drink & a pot of coffee in a little room with no place to sit....I could go on, but this was by far & away, the worst hotel we have ever stayed in...could not believe the positive comments on the site, and believe they must be planted, because I dont know why anyone could fine much of anything positive to say -- especially for the price of over $100.
The location was good for Universal Studios.
My husband and I were not very happy with the accomoodation. The web site states continental breakfast included and all we got was a very small muffin and a drink of fake orange juice. The room was very old and poky with a tv that was so okd it did not even have a remote.
The owner of the hotel was very friendly and very helpful
The lady who was in the office was very pleasant and helpful. We were first put into a room where there was much street noise. We asked for a change of rooms and were quickly accommodated to a less noisy room. The second room turned out to be nicer and with more room as well as less noise from the street. The rooms were clean, not fancy, but suited to our plans since we were with family during the day and used the room for sleeping only.
Apparently the cable was down for TV and there were only 3 stations to watch. That did not create any problem for us since we were not in the room for any great length of time.
Only the location was convienant.
The room had a moldy smell. The bed did not seem to be a queen size, the airconditioner was very noisey. The bars of soap provided were extremely small and not usable. The towels were not bath towels and worn extremely thin. The linen did not appear to be crisp clean and the carpet was stained and dirty and in need of a washing or replacemnt. The room was over priced.
The room was in a relatively quiet position away from the main road
There was no extractor fan in the bathroom
It was very close to Universal Studios
All the towels were dirty and when I told the staff about it they made me fetch the towels for them. The second batch of towels still had one out of three that was unacceptable. One of the bed's comforter had stains on the underside. One of the beds bowed in the middle. The A/C unit started making loud knocking noises at 4 in the morning.
Room was tiny, felt like a windowless box, with very ugly decor. Carpeting was disgusting - very old and shabby with cigarette burn holesl A/C unit was so noisy we couldn't sleep, and it didn't cool the room effectively. There was no A/C in the bathroom which was stifling. Hard to put on makeup in there but light so poor in bedroom there was no choice. Bath towels were like thin rags...no kleenex.
The blanket on the bed was old and had a few holes in it. The carpet was stained and had iron burn marks on it. The shower had moldy spots.
