Excellent Resort
We stayed here two years ago, in an Oceanview Room in the Rainbow Tower, and now we're back and staying in an Oceanfront Room in the Ali'i tower. This is a great place, walk out of the hotel lobby and onto the sands of Waikiki Beach. The resort covers several acres, packed full of shops, restaurants, bars, everything - and then a simple stroll down the beach and you're in the main shopping area of Honolulu. The Ali'i Tower and the Rainbow Tower are similar in price, the difference though in the Ali'i Tower is that it's like a special club within the larger resort. There's a dedicated Concierge, many perks such as free water etc, a dedicated level 2 area that contains a gym, a swimming pool with deck chairs, and a bar with tables and chairs. You also get a leather wristband that they suggest you wear on the premises, and that gets you front of line access to all the Hilton owned restaurants on the property, and that's proved to be very handy. Highly recommended, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Honolulu.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is located on 22 acres on the widest stretch of Waikiki Beach. Five swimming pools include the 10,000-square-foot super pool and the Paradise pool with the best waterslides in Waikiki. The resort offers 18 restaurants and lounges, the Waikiki Starlight Luau, nightly entertainment at Tropics and Tapa bar, Friday fireworks show on the beach, 80 shops and services, such as fine boutiques, jewelry, souvenir, and sundry shops, and doctors on call. Water activities include on-site surfing lessons, snorkeling, standup paddle board, kayaking, Atlantis submarine, and catamaran sailing from Port Hilton. On land, Hilton Hawaiian Village features weekly hula lessons, lei making, and ukelele lessons. Camp Penguin children's program is for ages 5-12. The full-service Mandara Spa is open daily, access to the fitness center is complimentary. Five towers on the tropical landscaped grounds feature a variety of guest rooms and suites offering stunning resort or oceanfront views. The Alii has an exclusive check-in desk, concierge services, private pool, fitness center and pool terrace bar. The resort offers 150,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, a Xerox business center and the U.S. Post Office. Hilton Hawaiian Village is a non-smoking resort hotel.
