Hilton has implemented a “clean stay” program to help ensure everyone can stay in a clean environment
Do not stay here until Covid is over. Essentially no food is available all through the “village”. The Hilton website does not make it clear that everything is closed and only a handful of venues are available to handle 3800 guest rooms. It is like Fyre Festival
Location, staff, super comfy beds!
Beautiful amenities, spectacular view
More options in activity times. Pools were too cold to swim. More options for quiet relaxation
Excellent location! Staff was amazing. Lots to do at the resort. Be sure to catch the fireworks on Friday nights.
Resort needs an update to rooms badly. Really showing signs of wear and tear.
Bed very restful and room was nicely appointed and clean.
Great location to enjoy Waikiki with great pool and beach options. Staff were friendly.
Diamondhead Tower is a little outdated, basic but clean.
Every thing was great
More restaurants options
Right on Waikiki beach
Between resort fees, parking fees, and taxes you end up spending ~$120 per day on top of the room rate.
Everyone was so helpful
I wish room service had better choices.
It’s very convenient to stay at the rainbow tower I upgraded room.
I thought breakfast buffet was a little overpriced.
Loved our access to the lagoon, numerous pools, and beach, which were all steps away from our tower. Was able to check in early and got an upgraded room for a small fee.
Charging for amenities offered at the lagoon. (I.e. paddle boarding, kayaking, tents, etc.)
For a large business convention the facilities were a bit hard to navigate.
The hotel has beautiful grounds and a great location right on the beach. Even though we didn't have a beach view we had a view over the lagoon which was relaxing - at least we weren't looking at the brick walls of another building. It's a great place for a family vacation, although my husband and I were there by ourselves. We walked down the beach to other hotels and restaurants which took about 15 minutes and didn't really bother us. Next time we go to Honolulu we might think about staying closer to the centre of Waikiki.
We thought the Hilton's restaurants were a little expensive compared to other restaurants of equal quality in Waikiki.
The location and landscaping where great. I liked all the services and shopping. The pools where very nice
Parking and internet where expensive
Did not appreciate having to enter through the back door approach because we used the airport shuttle service. The staff was outstanding and accommodations above expectations for the price. Thought
Thought experience above expectations . Would have liked to enter at front with rest of paying guests. (shuttle). Vendor prices somewhat overpriced in adjacent shops. Would gladly return or recommend to others.
The view was spectacular! The water slides at the pool were fun.
The bathroom was very 1970's in both decor and size. The air conditioning could not be set below 68 degrees, even though the only bed covering was a down comforter. During out last two days there, the valets, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were on strike.
Relaxing yet plenty to do if you wanted to.
The staff was and everyone at the hotel was very friendly. Great room and view. The resturants were good and food was great. Would stay again.
I think that better preperation needs to be made when it rains at the luau. Our first night they cancelled the luau because off the rain and the second night we went it rained 20 mins after the luau started and everyone has having the super in the rain. Not very impressed.
Ability to arrange early check-in after return from Island cruise, and pleasant housekeeping staff
Great location for meeting, friendly staff, easy access to nice beach. Multiple shopping and dining options.
With the exception of the ABC convenience store, prices of most items (clothes, food, etc.) sold on the premises were absurdly high, e.g., $10 for a hot dog, $16 for internet in your room for one day, etc.
Excellent place, nice views, nice pleasant staff and would definately stay there again...
I would highly recommend you to stay in this hotel.
