Great Lovation & Staff / Dirty Rooms
Front desk and tour sales staff were awesome!! The location was great, the breakfast decent and the pool was ok.
We moved rooms twice. Once because someone smoke before us and second because we woke up to red ants on us.
very small room
Here is very poor. And Khao San Rd is very noisy. You couldn't sleep if you stay here.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close to the touristy places like grand palace, Buddha statues, and temples.
I was unaware that the location would be hippy central for all the white people suffering their post-grad life crises. Lots of weathered westerners trying to look like they wished they looked in college. Weird place. Far from the heart of Bangkok, and far from the normal Thai people, and far from the train system. Not good if you are trying to get real Thai experience. Good if you want to be surrounded by white Europeans with dreads and broken dreams.
The hotel is ok, swiming pool is also ok. The only problem is the noise, but thats what you get on Kaosan Road.
Rooms are a bit small (even the top one)
I had a really good time staying at Rikka Inn. Great staffs & Great value.
Great place to stay in the Bangkok's old town. Perfect location on Khao San Road which very near The Grand Palace. Compact room with enough facilities. Free internet computers at the lobby and also free wifi in the room. Really nice swimming pool. Great value overall.
Very nice budget hotel, perfect location, clean and new, awesome swimming pool on the rooftop
I checked in about 10:30pm on 27/8/2010, nextday request to check out 1 hr late at 1pm also not allowed- not flexible
We arrived late and staff were extremely accommodating. Our room was not large, but not too small, very clean and had lovely decoration/artwork as well as a fridge, excellent air con, en suite shower/bathroom and fresh cold water every day. Cleaning is notified as 'on request' -we didn't ask for this but our Roo was still cleaned and the bed turned down anyway. The reviews we read on here and tripadvisor had us worried, but the hotel couldn't have been better. The pool and communal areas are lovely, and the location perfect for what we wanted, right in the heart of khao San road. Excellent value for money.
The key deposit of 1000baht is a bit of a pain at tue end of a long trip, we kind of needed the cash, but it was returned without question on checkout and was ideal to pay for taxi/airport food etc so not a massive problem. The pool is only open 1000-1800 which is a shame but probably is the reason it is so clean and doesn't cause any noise problems. Obviously at night silence is not possible owing to the location in the middle of party street Bangkok but the air con covers the window being shut and it is entirely bearable.
hotel is right in the thick of tourist bangkok,a nice hotel for a couple of nights!!
Hotel was affordable, clean, had a pool and in a great location for those wanting to stay in the Khao San area.
Hotel was noisy at night due to nightlife in Khao San (even though I was in a room at the back of the hotel). 1000 Baht cash deposit irritating.
Very good central location, good value for money - room size, swimming pool, We have arrived at 6.00 am and they let us check in and go the room straight away which was great after a whole night of travelling!
The room was located just opposite the lift so it was noisy sometimes
expensive because was given the ground floor and noisy. basic toilet ammenities (toothbrush, soap..) not provided. saw a coakcroach crawling in the toilet on the day i left.
