helpful staff, large rooms, free internet
Location - it is in the middle of nowhere and a bus ride away from central Mykonos. Little if any cafe or food nearby.
Perfect location, short walk to beach (10mins) but far enough away from all the beachside clubs. George is THE MAN!!!! Does everything for his guests, pick up, drop off, give info and even lent us money when we couldn't find an atm (note: no ATMs at paradise beach). Hotel was lovely and clean with a beautiful pool.
The staff and owner George are teriffic. They do everything in their power to make your stay enjoyable. Excellent room and view to Paradise Beach. The walk back up the hill from the beach but would only be a problem if you have mobility issues. The bus into Mykonos town is reliable and at 1.4 euro good value. If you are looking for a place to relax then Paradise View fits the bill.
Very friendly staff eager to do anything to help you. Awesome location, beautiful views and the hotel itself looked like a mediterranean villa. Everything about this hotel was great, and George (owner/operator) made our stay just fantastic.
The breakfast was small - but quite nice. Not an American or English buffet style breakfast, but it was still quite good.
I particularly liked where the hotel is. The location is great - just far enough from Paradise Beach that it's very quiet, but close enough to walk to the beach. Public buses will pick you up right at the hotel driveway so you can get into Mykonos town for dinner easily and quickly. The location couldn't be a better combination of quiet and accessibility for those of us who don't want to rent cars.
The photos on the Booking.com website look more elegant than the actual hotel. It seemed to me a bit dated compared to other places we stayed. It could be made more appealing by being more "Greek Islands" with a little effort, if the owners want that. But we love the place.
Free airport/port transfer. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Near the paradise beach. Quiet and relaxing place. Booked 2-night non-refundable price but couldn't make the 1st night due to cancelled boat, but had been charged less than 2-night amont.
Far away from town but you can get bus right in front of the hotel.
George, the owner and manager was very friendly and very helpful during our stay there. The hotel is easy to find (George will come and pick you up if you let him know your arrival details) and the bus stops right out front of the hotel. It is about 10 mins by bus to Mykonos town and buses run about twice an hour during the day. The hotel has a relaxed feel to it and has beautiful views.
Not a major problem but the hotel is probably 350 metres from the beach, mainly flat except for the last 100 metres which is up the hill, not too bad but could leave some people breath-less.
George's hospitality will definitely let us recommend to anyone looking to stay by Paradise, Mykonos!
Paradise View Hotel is a great spot on the island because it is a short walk to the major night life and a short ride to Mykonos town
The location was excellent, very close to paradise beach. The view from the rooms and the rooms themselves were beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Most importantly the staff really cares about their guests, service and attention is their best quality.
When you stay at Paradise View Hotel in Mykonos, you'll be near the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Paradise Beach and Platis Gialos Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
