It was totally wacky
If you accept the premise that the whole place is intended to be a weird pastiche of 50s New York and that no respite from relentless stimulation is permitted, it's great.
NY NY theme
Lack of tea/coffee making facilities limited tv channels Lack of restaurants/cafes serving meals on crockery rather than plastic plates.
Got a room on a high floor and the location was perfect.
Overall bad customer service. The shower was not working. Alarm clock was not working. Front desk manager didn't give a damn. Hotel was fully booked so obviously they wouldn't care ... The room was old and shabby ... no bottled water in the room, no hot water kettle, no tea/coffee in the room. Would not stay here again for sure. There are many 4 star hotels on the strip that over way better service and value for money.
