the ratio cost/benefit was very high, in other words quite costly for what you get
The staff is excellet
The hotel room is small for 3 persons. Although they seld a triple room is in fact a double room with extra bed. The extra bed is very bad.
We were relocated to another hotel for 2 of the 3 nights stay due to an error on behalf of the hotel. An uninformative reception staff member provided notification of this only upon our arrival to the hotel late on the first night. The staff member was unable to advise of the address or standard of the apparently long established "partner hotel", nor could they advise of the transport arrangements for transfer thereto. This is not a 3-star hotel, rather more akin to a budget guesthouse. The room was large, but quite cold and near a noisy road. Obersendling underground stop is the nearest, not Thalkirchen as stated in the hotel overview. The hotel overview also refers to cable tv, however, the tv in the room was exceptionally antiquated.
On the positive side: hotel staff apart from the owner was friendly and the breakfast was ok.
On the negative side: we got a quadruple room which was a normal double bed room with a tiny bathroom. It was impossible for a family to stay there: one double bed was only 130cm wide so that they could fit it into the room, the chest was not capable of covering for 4 people and the bathroom was so tiny that at any time only one person could use it. To get dressed usually two people had to go on the corridor to give enough space to others to use it. The price was still enormous. The owner did not want to listen to our complaint, I feel that he is extremely greedy as the price was still high. Apart from the size of the room the hotel is run down and urgently needs investment
the room was clean and the bathroom rather big
not easy to find
The hotel staff was excellent. Very helpfull and kind. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were cosy. Beds were very comfortable.
The receptionist were v helpful
Close to City Centre but not too noisy.
Hotel staff, breakfest
Location is not a best one
