It had a bigger pool. Bathroom was somewhat updated but a little on small side. Large room even with 2 queen beds there was plenty of more room.
Facility and rooms could stand to be updated. Hallways were dark. Room was dark and the desk& dresser were kinda worn.
To many children in rooms
Make sure to ask for Breakfast.
At first glance
We only stayed one night so it did it’s job. The lobby was nice.
The hotel appears luxury. But our shower knob to turn on was stuck, nobody had vaccuned the floor in a bit (there was a wine cap under the bed and a tennis ball) the safety seals on half of the shampoo/condition/lotions were already broken and used a little bit, the fridge did not make things cold And my friend thought the towels smelled a bit like mildew. We also had a large college hockey team staying on our floor that came back at about 2/3 am very drunk and very loud, you could hear everything from everywhere. I also paid extra for two queen beds and what we got was not queens. They charge you for breakfast for late check out for almost everything and make sure you watch the bill just in case because I heard people having problems of extra charges on their card at the front desk.
Fire alarms aren’t fun
When you and your wife get a little one night getaway. A fire alarm going off at 9:30 at night is a pretty crappy occurrence. When there is a second fire alarm at 1:30 in the morning, that was obviously a mistake since it was quickly shut off within a minute of going off with no explaination or compensation this becomes a place you will never go back to!
The staff was great ; the pool was refreshing and my bed was luxurious.
Not a thing!
After seeing that breakfast was included online we were told at the front desk that people that book online for the hotel don’t get breakfast. I tried to show the lady the reservation however she dismissed any proof and just said anyone who books online has to pay extra for breakfast. This was a damper on our vacation as we didn’t budget breakfast every morning. We ended in going somewhere other than the hotel as their breakfast wasn’t anything special and rather pricy.
The room it self was nice.
The hotel is very old. I heard the people on the floor above me very clear as their kids ran around. There's only 2 elevators throughout the entire hotel and they take forever. I had no fitted sheet on my bed and only one part of the got warm. The Wi-Fi did not work for my one night stay which really sucked.
Great hotel and amazing pool for kids
My wife and I and our two kids visit Buffalo quite often. We usually stay downtown. This time we decided to give the Millennium a try - let me say that we were pleasantly surprised. What a great hotel - check in was a breeze- staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a room connected to the atrium where the pool is located. Room was beautiful - had a two beds and a sitting area. Can't say enough about the pool and the space in the atrium. The atrium and pool were great and there was lots of space for the kids to run around and play. Loved that we could order room service to the pool - Great job Millennium - We will definitely be back. Thanks
Stayed there last month, black mold in bathroom. Gave it another try because the kids LOVE the pool. This time better service, clean etc.
Good for the money
Clean , they are doing upgrades which are needed
Carpet was old.
Not worth the money
Loud guests as neighbors. We witnessed multiple drug deals going on in the parking lot from our window in our room.
Helpful staff, clean room, good breakfast
Non-functional tv remote control
Very noisy hotel; we could hear everything from the connecting room. We called to complaint about the noise but the hotel did not do anything about it. Staff at reception was very average, barely giving us any information. We travel a lot, both for business and for pleasure, and at $190 per night, this is not a good value for money. Thanks
What I like best about staying at the Millennium is that it is central to all the places that I like to shop. Now they have a Tim Horton's that is close as well and that is a bonus.
The bedding was done very poor, wrinkled, no mattress cover, not enough pillows for a king size bed. Heat did not work well. Rooms need updating for price you pay. I would only recommend because it is very convenient for shopping. I have stayed here quite a few times.
food was poor quality, the hotel was cold, the pool was small and cold when you came out of the pool
Location - right beside the mall and easy to get to from Toronto. And I really liked the pool-side room.. Also, it was nice and quiet at night, even with the pool just outside our door.
The room door to the pool was very difficult to close. We had to slam it.. And the breakfast was all carbohydrates - a choice of fruit or juice would have been nice in the free part of the breakfast.
hotel was convienant to I-90 and places I had to go in the city.
The hotel staff needs customer service training. Their tone with customers was brusque and sexist - nice to men, short with women. the right words were said but there were few smiles and a lack of welcoming warmth.
Great Mattress. Friendly staff.
This hotel needs a major reno!!! TV didnt work, bad need of paint job, sofa was worn and torn, wall paper peeling off, etc etc. My wife was not impressed.
the swimming pool was handy
proximity to shopping area
Bathroom needs updating- looking old and tired
We enjoyed shopping at the mall and the atmosphere at the hotel.
