Staff was incredible! Location next to "las ramblas" was great.
Only one situation; organization of the taxi to the airport turned into quite a mess - nearly missed the flight.
My Barcelona Favorite!
I'd stayed at Casa Camper before, but it had been awhile. This time, I was driving. I called and asked for a parking recommendation, and was told of an excellent parking garage just around the corner. When I arrived, my GPS was having trouble finding directions to the hotel from the lot. I called the hotel, explaining the street where I was, and asking how to get to the hotel. Enrique personally met me outside and escorted me back to the hotel. That's extraordinary service! I was hungry when I arrived, and it was midnight. The free snack bar was much appreciated. Lovely rooftop bar, too. And the location can't be beat. Breakfast was great too- an excellent custom omelette gave me the energy to get going!
Really nice hotel, centrally placed. Staff were excellent - polite and well informed, and the complimentary champagne for our birthday celebration was a nice surprise. As per previous comments, taxi from airport had some difficultly mainly because the police had closed Ramblas on the weekend evening.
At this price bracket I would expect better restaurant and room service facilities, although there is no shortage of good eateries with walking distance. We had a split room, with bedroom on one side of a corridor and sitting room on the other side of the corridor - this didn't really work for us hence although the overall space was good, we spent most of our time in a just ok-sized bedroom.
Atmosphare, location, stuff
Very lovely, friendly and smiling staff.
Everything was perfect - hotel staff very helpful, loction just minute from La Rambla, 24/7 refreshment bar, beautiful design, comfortable beds.
location, good wines, refreshment during the day and night, helpfull & polite staff
stinky air in our room propably from the ground of the bathroom, because of the system of sink hole / mildew/
Everything- complimentary food service - 24 hour, extremely comfortable beds, beautiful design throughout, excellent courteous staff
Pleasant design, very considerate staff, nice “mini bar” system, no street noise although located down town.
Very friendly staff. Due to a health problem, I was not feeling well, the friendliness of the staff helped - also that I could check out a little bit later, when I was feeling better.
Although nice day-time rooms, the sleeping room does not have natural light/ a window.
The secondary lounge room was a real bonus
The location of the hotel is excellent. The fact you can come back from a long walking day and you have a drinks and snaks buffet make it feels like home
Great design with good details. The rooms and services are very well thought-out. The 24-hour cafe on the ground floor is a great idea. Beautiful roof terrace, and the ability to take breakfast anywhere (downstairs, in your room / lounge or on the roof terrace) is fantastic. Good location 2 minutes off the Ramblas
Not all the plug sockets worked (and the hair dryer didn't work). I don't understand why in hotels there is very rarely a power socket near a mirror; although there is a hair dryer near a mirror, there is nowhere to plug in straighteners / curlers etc where one can see in a mirror.
