It is beautiful, and we loved our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is romantic and lmfelt luxurious.
The restaurant/drinks were very expensive. It would have been nice to get a glass of wine for a reasonable amount.
Beautiful location with access to the town on foot. Hotel was immaculate Restaurant in hotel was superb although expensive. All staff were helpful and suggested other dining experiences locally.
Hidden costs of sunbeds etc were very expensive. During our stay restaurant was shut mon/tues, with no other dining option in hotel.
The service, the people, the conciarce, we woke up happy every day and enjoyed life the room an the hotell.
Not dislike, but i would hav liked a coffe maskin in the room, Nespresso machin?
Food was to expensive.
Great location and views of the sea, the reception staff (the receptionists, the concierge and the porters) were very welcoming and helpful. The building itself is charming.
Of course, ridiculously overpriced, as everything in Riviera. The carpet in the room was not properly hoovered. The service at the breakfast was appallingly bad! The breakfast itself was very poor (for 24 Euro per person!). The lunch food and service was poor as well, for 14 Euros I got a small glass of warm and sour champagne. The food at lunch was just tastless. They charge you extra for Internet (in 5 star hotel! Even in most 3-star hotels free internet is a norm!)
We like very much the staff and the atmosphere of the hotel as well as its position and decor.
The service at lunch on the beach was sometimes very slow, probably because there were not enough staff. We did not think so well of the new chef in the main restaurant compared with the chef last year.
We liked very much the location of the hotell, the nice terrasse and the very nice beach restaurant, who served exellent lunches. The room was also very nice.
We was not satisfied with the staff at the hotell - very bad service at the breakfast - and very unpersonality behaviar for the guests.
The hotel is very nicely appointed - it appears to have been remodeled over the last few years. It's off the main road, and is quieter that if situated in town. It has its own private beachfront. We arrived before check-in and and the staff, who were very nice and accomodating, allowed us to relax on the beach while waiting for our room to be ready. There is a piano bar with live music nightly.
Everything is ala carte and rather expensive. Lunch at the beachfront cafe cost over $100US for 2 meals and 2 drinks. The hotels charges guests for use of the private beach. 4 drinks at the hotel bar cost over $75US, and Internet use costs over $30US per day.
Lovely hotel. Location is perfect. This is the 2nd visit to this hotel but this time we had our 3 month baby with us. This is not a child friendly hotel as has steps down to the beach so abit of a pain with prams & not too safe with the pontoon. However we did know this before we booked. A perfect hotel though for couples.
the location, the charm
the noise (room on street side)
The hotel has great character and the sea view from our room was fantastic
The room was very small and noisy.
