Far too expensive
The breakfast is good but totally overpriced. The food in the restaurant is also good.
This is a very basic offering with a terrible location. It's far from everything except a supermarket. The rooms are small. The staff are on the whole friendly but ironically the senior staff have a tendency to get a bit snappy. Overall I'd question how much they're getting paid, either it's low or the management culture sucks all the fun out of working there- my observation after 3 weeks there is that it would be both. I would question just what exactly "by Rydges" is supposed to denote in terms of quality- the suggestion here being that Rydges has obviously gone down hill to be associated with this hotel.
Roomy, clean, comfortable
Terrible hours on food service (ends early and there is nothing around), no vending machines or anything after 9:30 PM, no ice machines, no nothing.
