Good hotel, far from the attraction but there are shuttle for the other side where the attractions are. The shuttle every 30 mins until midnight
The staff are professional but rude somtimes.
Awesome staff. Great breakfast. Good cocktails!
Beautiful place, but the internet access was terri
Almost everything. The room was beautiful, across a small garden. The staff was very accommodating. The gardens were a particularly nice touch.
One major gripe: internet access (important, as this was a business trip) was very poor. Connections dropped constantly, and otherwise ran remarkably slowly. The only other gripe is very minor: as the hotel is in Giudecca, it's a bit of a "trip" to get to the main island. On the other hand, that's how it has the beautiful gardens and how it's not surrounded by crowds all the time...
The locaiton was away from the hussle and bussle of Venice but only a short boat ride away. The hotel's garden makes it feel like you are worlds away from a busy metropolis.
The walls were paper thin - we could hear our neighbors early in the morning watching television.
A 5 minute free shuttle ride across from Piazza San Marco to an utterly relaxing retreat in Venice. The service and staff are second to none.
Lighting in the room was very poor. One could not read. The customer service was terrible
The best personal service I have ever encountered -wonderfully helpful staff
The Garden view
The room service should be avaliable until the mid night
Great location on an island opposite St Mark's Square (free shuttle to St Mark's Square takes 2 min), very quiet yet an ideal starting point for walks in the city or trips to other islands, great views, rooms very clean and in excellent condition, very attentive staff, charming garden
The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable of their town so they could tell us the best places to go. We had dinner 1 night in the hotel dining room and it ws one of the best meals we had on our trip. Our stay was totally enjoyable.
Friendly & Helpfully Staff.Hotel Building with a difference. The Gardens & Peace & Quiet Good transport links & so close to all the amenities. Private boat across the Canal
Some of the Carpets appeared old and sad. On arrival from the Airport not be able to find the gate to the private boat at the sister Baur Hotel. Had to go by water bus which went all around the canal before recching the opposite bank.
Breakfast was excellent. The courtesy boat to and from Venice was a great bonus.Staff were very pleasant and helpful
The breakfast was wonderful and the service was very personal - the concierge personally showed us up to our room, which made us feel like we were the only ones staying the hotel. The service was also very prompt - we left the room in the evening for 5 minutes and came back to find our bed already turned down for us. The location was excellent, too. Although you must get on the vaporetto to reach tourist attractions, the island of Giudecca is so quiet and peaceful - it is well worth hopping on the vaporetto a few stops - plus the station is literally right in front of the hotel.
The architecture and the friendly staff
The spa seems to be a myth. Dont go on the hotel organised tour of glass 'factory' at Murano, instead visit yourself with 42 public boat.
Location (quiet away from the tourist throng), large room (we booked a suite) and the view across to the Piazza San Marco. The hotel run a free shuttle which runs between the Palladio and the Palazzo Bauer Hotel.
Price. Then again, Venice is expensive all round.
With a stay at Bauer Palladio Hotel & Spa, you'll be centrally located in Venice, within a 5-minute drive of St. Mark's Square and Grand Canal. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
