Location a plus and minus
The location was convenient but you have to walk past a bunch shady characters that loiter in front of the local businesses staring tourists pass. You almost feel like they're sizing the prey. Best to go In-N-Out during the day. The internet speeds were so slow as to render the internet useless.
calm and quite environment of the hotel
no complaints
Firstly I would like to mention Fabiola at the reception, without her good will and friendly attitude, we would enjoy the stay much less. the hotel is very modern and clean. close to the bus no.2 for Venice, the journey takes 15 min. the surrounding is quiet and nice. the room is not big but is bright, nice and kept tidy every day. breakfast is very good and offers a good variety, especially fresh fruits and good pastry.
we couldn't have a double bed, despite the fact I asked for it. the nice receptionist woman got us a double mattress. the shower doors were broken and were not fixed during the 7 nights stay! the lamp cover in the bathroom was missing. these faults didn't make us unhappy, just wandering why the hotel was not able to fix such small things. the sound isolation is poor, the doors slamming and neighbor's shower were very annoying.
This hotel is close to the Mestre railway station and bus stop towards Venice. It's a good place to stay if you wish to visit Venice without paying too much for your hotel.
The bed could be of better quality.
The room was nice and big and comfortable and the large balcony/terrace was a lovely addition.
Our bathroom had only a handheld shower and no shower curtain, but was clean and bright and otherwise well appointed.
The staff at the hotel was by far the best I had in Italy. They were very friendly, and the lovely woman at the front desk (whose name I am unfortunately blanking on) greeted us happily every morning at breakfast and helped us figure out the logistics of getting around Venice (they have a great map that they give out to travelers). They recommended a great local restaurant, and particularly for Europe, I found the room to be quite large. It was extremely clean and bright, and the area was quiet. The breakfast was very good, with eggs and hot ham as well as the usual Italian hotel breakfast foods (croissants, salami, etc). I don't think I have a single thing to complain about regarding this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others
Convenient location for the train station 1 euro into Venice. Good Parking
Breakfast was sparse - not enough food for the number of people.
pleasant and helpful staff, nice, but small room
The room was much nicer than expected for the cost. Better value for your dollar than actually staying in Venice itself.
Not very good noise insulation between the rooms. Stayed on second floor and could hear people on main floor.
ideal location for visits to Venice and other towns
We had two rooms that were excellent and value for money. Hotel staff very friendly and good in English. Handy location to Mestre train station with connection to Venice. Breakfast was good for our requirements. Free parking within hotel grounds.
