The Saltwater pool was fantastic

Air conditioning wasn't working well and I finally had to ask for a fan to be able to sleep. They offered another room but it was late and I didn't feel like moving at that point. Also, the refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed so it never got cold, making it useless. Manager said he was aware of it already which made me wonder why they put us in a room they knew had problems. This hotel was no more than 30 percent occupied, plenty of empty rooms and we get a room that the manager KNEW wasn't fit to occupy. He was unfriendly. He was CONSTANTLY watching every time I came out of my room and made me feel unwelcome from the minute I arrived. I will NEVER stay at that location again even if was FREE! Facility is run down with broken windows broken fixtures peeling paint. My room didn't have a smoke detector just wires hanging out of the ceiling. It was a non smoking room. I think in most places a smoke detector is required by law. Room 281

This is a place you stay because you have to.

Three out of four of the front desk staff were very pleasant. Good cold AC.

Smell of urine in the bathroom. Towel rack coming off the wall. Sparse mediocre breakfast. TV remote wouldn't turn the TV on. Uncomfortable pillows. Traffic noise. Night clerk at check in seemed to be bothered by our arrival.
