Location was ok and the food was good. Beach area was nice as well and was a fun scene at night.
I thought that the hotel was not good value for the money. The hotel staff was surly and not helpful, the rooms are small and did not feel clean, the rooms felt tired, and we had to change rooms because our ceiling had a big hole in it and was leaking water.... The hotel did not compensate us for the lesser room and they originally even refused to put us into a new room. Ther e are much nicer hotels around the maki in in neighboring towns that would have been much better value for the money.
The quality of staff and service of Maki Hotel does not match its name and price and stars. Our experiences were unbeliable: Twice housekeeping guys barged into our room without knocking! Twice leftover room service food from previous night was left untouched in front of the room till the afternoon and then thrown on the garden in our view to be eaten by cats. We aksed an iron and the iron delivered did not work. We ordered pizza on the beach, they forgot the pizza but did not forget to add it on the bill. Housekeeping did not renew shampoo and bath gel. They took the bathrobes and did not bring them back. There was no shoeshine. The whole experience was unbelievable, I have never seen such bad service and unequipped staff.
nature,close to beach,restaurant
The vibrant atmosphere throughout the day and evening, the courteous behavior of the staff and the type of visitors one would expect to see.
The very high noise from the loud speakers of neighboring restaurants or discos that would not stop until the early hours of the morning.
Turkbuku is beautiful... the waterfront at the Maki is hard to beat. Staff was courteous and friendly. Look forward to returning and happy to recommend to others.
The room was slightly underwhelming for the cost, but this can be typical for beach locales.
too expensive from value for money perspective. It was end of the season and hotel staff was not very friendly and service was very slow
upscale youthful crowd (mostly coming from within Turkey), fantastic ambience and great rooms/facilities
didn't like 2 things: first one was the hotel personnel, who barely spoke any other language except turkish. The second thing was the breakfast. The one included in the price could suffice only for those on a strict diet. Even coffee or juice had to be ordered separately for a hefty extra price.
