A wonderful hotel
huge comfortable rooms, great breakfast, eccentric cool lobby. Option to have coffee in room with nice espresso machine and kitchenette. Gorgeous pool and small but absolutely workable gym. The bar and restaurants on premise are a reason to stay there.
I would suggest that they change orientation of front desk and use a counter system, the low slung desk is too slow and casual and open.
Very unique and excellent lodgings
Gorgeous facilities, accommodating staff, absolutely scrumptious food.
The building itself was unlike everything I've ever seen. The rooms were incredibly large and well appointed mini-apartments. Amenities couldn't be beat. Staff was simply amazing. Restaurants and bar also get high marks.
Staff were very accommodating. Room was great. Food lovely.
unfortunately didn't feel comfortable in area hotel was in.
So far the best 5 star hotel i ever stayed in. Real individual design. 21st century, thats what hotels should look like. Also i like that the staff kept in the background but was there when you needed them.
The best hotel we've stayed at in London
Excellent location and so quiet you would not know that you where in such a busy area. Good design , nice swimming pool and gym, lovely room (apartment) we got upgraded we would definally stay again.
Room service was a bit patchy and slow it seamed like they where still finding their feet, but all the staff where very friendly though.
Other than the location being a bit out of the way, I can say nothing bad about this place. The hotel was amazing, the staff was incredible, there was little they did not think of.
Nice refurbishment. Staff all very friendly.
Difficult to find, using wrong directions from "Google map" Breakfast expensive.
Very nice hotel with great design;
The design of this hotel is breathtaking, they have converted an old town hall and made it into luxury rooms and apartments. Old marble staircases and oak paneling lead to your rooms and then inside is a feast of new design and retro furniture.
I don't want to be negative because the hotel was just 'starting up' but we did feel that the hotel should not have opened its doors until it was completely ready. When we arrived we found that fixtures and fittings were not all finished in the main reception areas and builders were fixing snags throughout the building. Our rooms were finished but the 2 bedroom apartment that we booked was not ready so they relocated us for no extra charge. In our room the kettle did not work and the shower design meant that the water ran straight on the floor and into the bedrooms, which is not good if you like a nice long hot shower. When the hotel launches in June it will be a better stay but dont book just yet!
