Good location, okay price.
It's not 5-star hotel, maybe three. My room didn't look anything like on photos, but was quite old fashioned with dirty carpet, broken cupboards and water stains on bathroom ceiling.
Location was excellent.
Paint on ceiling falling off, hole in the wall and plug didn’t work. Wouldn’t say this was a 5 star hotel.
Over priced, threadbare and disappointing
The location was good.
Overall the hotel is in shabby condition, mis-matched and tacky furniture, thread bare carpeting and dim lighting. The mattress was lumpy, we had no internet service though it was supposed to be provided free. The air conditioning did not work well and the toilet leaked. When we went to take a shower in the morning there was no hot water, we called multiple times and heard a different story each time regarding the water. There was never any hot water and we were told the boiler was broken. The staff was odd, almost seemed like a mafia running the property, very strange to explain. Not friendly or helpful at all, didn't seem to care about any of the issues or challenges we had there. When checking out the clerk just looked at me and handed me a business card for a discount on my next stay! When it was time to catch a cab to the airport, the concierge tried to force us to use a cab service recommended by them. 30 minutes later we were still waiting for a cab, though dozens of empty ones passed by the street in front of us. We finally hailed our own! The roof top lounge is like a ghetto night club, pounding music and lots of drunk teens staggering through there as well as the lobby. The gym has 4 pieces of equipment, all kind of old and not looking to safe to use, quite a joke! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you are looking for a drunk-fest in London in a sleazy hotel. This was definitely not a value, our basic needs were not met.
close from shops and resturants
I came early in the morning and there was no rooms available! they let me wait for more than one hour although I came from long distance trip! didnt give late check out!
I stay in this hotel at 3 time, but at that time my room was auful - all was broken and was very uncomfortable.
the most we like was the location in the centre
the most accept the room and the lobby where very bad.chairs in the breakfast room was onacceptebel.the bar on the roof was very , very bad, while the price is a hilton price. no we nevr schould go back.we always are going to hilton in the world but this was the most bad hilton we ever saw.
Unfriendly personal; worn out hotel and a shame for the hilton group. Compared to the langham hilton where I stayed 2 nights before. This hotel is totally out of wack in price quality; Their web site is misleading.
Hallway is dirty, room does not have tea/coffee maker, however when we asked they did bring us.
A great central location, yet quiet. Close to Oxford Street, convenient for shopping. Near tube station and city attractions/parks.
Hotel staff not helpfull (We asked for info how to get to Luton airport and they sent us to the wrong train station. We almost missed our flight). Twin room was small for two people, internet connection and pay TV not working. Rather expensive (201 pounds/night excl. breakfast). Not really a five star hotel.
Probably it's time to invest in a new remote controls of the TV sets!
The staff are very nice & helpful.
The steps infront of the enterance gate which makes it a bit difficult for baby strollers.
My stay was for just one night and for business use, but the 2 key factors for me were location and cleanliness.
The checkout was poorly staffed.
very central and comfortable...easy to reach public transport...rooms clean and comfy though a bit too small
breakfast was expensive and pay TV did not work
