Beach, sea, relax free easy and the outdoor activities. Rather far to travel to the water sport centre.
Room come with Breakfast for 2 only. Hotel should consider for those family with younger children <12 years will be nice. Not much choices for other food and price is expensive compare to KK city town area.
Food and facilities were Ok. Great beachside massage. Staff try hard and are friendly but poor training and non-existent management overwhelm any efforts they might make.
Poor maintenance. Dreadful service. Like almost everything tourism-related in Sabah (except street food, which is brilliant and cheap), seriously overpriced for the level of service and quality. Food was bland and laughably over-priced when compared to local restaurants. Isolated location means you are stuck here far from the 'real' Sabah experience.
The staff tried hard and were very courteous
I picked up a gastric virus and spent the whole time in my hotel room. My fiancee stepped on a rusty nail (which was not rectified after the incident) and we had to make a trip to the local doctor for a tetnus etc (not ideal for me as i was really not well). Everything in the room looked nice but was not well built, i.e. everything was slightly loose. We booked a Spa suite to end our honeymoon and was disappointed with the Spa Suite wing. It is located approx 1 mile from the main wing (not 400m as stated on their website!!) and the only way to access the main resort after dark is by shuttle bus. Again not ideal if not feeling great. The dining options at the spa suite block is very poor (Dive Bar One).
Pool Villa - Location, location, location! Staff very friendly and trying to be helpful. Good choice at breakfast, but slow keeping up with demand - often ran out of items (fruit, yoghurt, bread etc).
The Pool Villa had kitchenette with hob, fridge/freezer, sink, kettle and lots of cupboard space - lovely! But there were only a few plates, 4 cups/saucers and 4 glasses, 4 tablespoons, 4 teaspoons and 4 forks. That's it. No saucepans or knives - not even a butter knife! When we challenged staff we were told that we are only supposed to do "light cooking eg soups" - without soup bowls and saucepan?! Not good. We also had to "fight" to get a parasol (which was clearly shown in their brochure). Needless to say, we bought essentials ie can opener, corksrew, sharp knife, scissors etc at reasonable cost from supermarket (own transport recommened - 15 min drive from resort, although shuttle service is provided). Also, we think it was overpriced
It was the complete package excellent location and range of resturants.
very relaxing with a nice beach
The water tap was broken and the toilet and half of the living area became wet.
We liked special the choices of restaurants and the excellent quality of the food. Also the setting of the whole complex is excellent
We could not found anything negative about our stay
