Location This hotel is located in the heart of Tunis city centre. The hotel is near to business and administrative centres, 300 metres from the souks of the Medina and close to the Grand Mosque, whilst being near to beaches, Sidi Bou Said and ancient Carthage. It lies only 2 hours' journey from most of the European capitals and is just 15 minutes from Tunis-Carthage Airport. Rooms All rooms feature air conditioning, central heating and a bathroom. The carpeted accommodation units feature a double bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar also feature. The accommodation units offer a range of amenities, including a mini-fridge. Convenient features include internet access, a telephone, a TV, a radio and wireless internet access. In each of the bathrooms, guests will find a shower, a bathtub, a hairdryer and bathrobes. Meals Various meals and board options are bookable. Guests can choose from breakfast, lunch, dinner, B & B, half board and full board. Amenities The hotel features 212 accommodation units. A lift provides easy access to the upper floors. Amenities include a safe and currency exchange facilities. Internet access and wireless internet access (no extra charge) are available in the public areas. The hotel offers a range of amenities for a comfortable stay, including gastronomic options such as a restaurant, a café and a bar. Shopping facilities are available. To reinforce the confidence of the traveler towards our destination which, as a reminder, was congratulated by the WHO for its controlled management in its fight against the Covid-19 virus, the chain EL MOURADI presents, below, some actions adopted: 1 /- The hotel management undertakes to ensure the application and proper compliance with health security measures, in accordance with the health protocol of ONTT. 2 /- The hotel management has presented its operating procedures to be followed by all of its staff. Training for staff has already taken place but there will also be ongoing and regular planned training (internal and external). 3 /- All people (Both employees & guests) wishing to enter the hotel will have their temperature taken by infra-red thermometer so that there is no contact. 4 /- The implementation of new arrival and departure procedures for customers in line with health recommendations is implemented and becomes operational. 5 /- The hotel provides anti-bacterial gel in the public areas. 6 /- The hotel provides signage and markings on the ground to maintain safe distances between customers in waiting areas. 7/- All staff are trained to practice social distancing and the establishment provides them with personal protective equipment. 8 /- The hotel reduces its occupancy to 50% as required by the Tunisian authorities. 9/- The hotel has taken the necessary measures to improve the general disinfection process by respecting the health requirements and recommendations of the ONTT health protocol. The frequencies of cleaning cycles in the common areas are being greatly increased and controlled (swimming pools, playgrounds, restaurants and entertainment areas). 10/- The hotel has revised its entertainment programs and the opening hours of its facilities, adapted to the current context. It is required to comply with regulatory standards for all group activities. 11/- Changes have been made to the different restaurant formulas, in accordance with food safety recommendations. The meals selected by the clients will be served by the catering staff in an assisted buffet. 12/- There is signage and posters around the hotels indicating the new measures so that all customers / guests are aware of the extra procedures.
